Someone posted a link to 2 gallery pages of one of my free sites at european-dream.com, which is an XXX forum apparently. I've gotten about a 1,000 hits today from it but no hits to the sponsor. My sponsor code look OK on the gallery pages. Anyone know what's up with this?

Forum traffic converts veeeery bad. Those surfers who come from forums are looking for free porn only. If you have trading resource redirect those free surfers to one. That'll help to improve quality of traffic back to galleries.

Are you sure they're not just hot linking your images? Forums are notorious for that.

They're not hotlinking--they entire gallery page is up with my text links/sponser code--I've also got hotlink protection enabled on my host. Another forum, Peppersboard.com has also picked up the links and given me another 1000 hits, and crap to the sponsor. No big deal, the bandwidth isn't going to hurt or anything, but just for the information is there anything you can do to stop someone from linking to your site?

That's not totally true. I have an adult forums site which links to my amateur photos site, and it converts pretty good!
