I know I have been gone awhile...

but damn. Going through my old sponsor lists, and I can't believe how many are belly up now. I might have to end up combining some of my cats for lack of sponsors to use.

Greenguy 2016-05-08 12:15 PM

What niches you need more for? I might be able to help :)

Pagan 2016-05-08 12:52 PM

I agree Nymph. I have quite a few that I am changing out as well. Seems the tubes and torrents have also hurt the sponsors. It's really okay because it makes the survivors stronger. I never worry about looking for sponsors -- I just look at Link-o-rama!!

Nymph 2016-05-08 02:16 PM

I was already planning on sniffing around Link-o-rama... it can only be good luck to sign up under the green one ;)

Over the weekend, when I got pissed off with database hunting, I started to redesign the pages of ClitPass. Some categories I no longer have active sponsors for. So the first place I looked was here, thinking you might as well get the ten percent (but what ten percent of bugger all is worth, I don't know). However I find that you have taken down your list of sponsors. Why is that? I doubt if everyone is as shit at selling porn as me, some might actually be worth being the "referring webmaster" for.

I have hard enough time managing LOR & Chubby Links these days. I wish I had more time & resources, but sadly...

You got it oh mighty green one!

Pagan 2016-05-09 07:14 PM

I find that if Greenguy is still promoting it actively on his site, it is worth checking out. No need for a list to depress all of us.

Too bad my list of links depresses me |lol|

Seriously, I do try to keep up with what's active/updating and the affiliate program is actually up & running...and paying! But I do miss a lot by not having the resources I once had at my disposal |mml|

That being said, if you see a site on my world famous Greenguy's New Links page, it's safe to assume they're on the up & up |thumb

...but I wonder often how many places give you a Webmaster Referral credit via a link to one of the paysites, so if you're not in a hurry, post or PM me real quick & I'll send over the proper coded link |shake|

Nymph 2016-05-10 09:14 AM

I'm still getting rid of dead sites/links. Holy shit I can't believe how many are dead.

I'm thinking about changing scripts too if I can find an easy way to transfer a flat file database.

I will let you know which ones I am interested in before I sign up.

About time you got back!!! |bananna|

Limped back is more like it. ha

It was supposed to be only a 3-5 day thing, one back surgery -- spinal fusion + tissue removal around the sciatic nerve -- but it ended up being two agonizing surgeries and nearly two months in the hospital, with several weeks in between surgeries spent bed-ridden and in nerve pain agony down my left leg.

Just glad it's all over now. :D

Nymph 2016-06-03 08:23 AM

Damn, I feel for ya CD. I have sciatica issues too, I am sure not as bad as yours though. That shit hurts!

CD Smith 2016-06-03 11:08 AM

I hope yours never get as bad as this was nymph. Wouldn't wish it on anybody. For nearly six years I had it, at it's worst it would go right down to my left foot, and if I kept walking or standing my leg and foot would go numb yet with incredible pain. Something had to be done. The first surgery went okay but then a screw they put on my spine later came loose, thankfully BEFORE I was sent home. I was still in the hospital when I suddenly could no longer walk again. Over two agonizing weeks later a second surgery was done to fix it, but it left me gimpy.

Now I'm just hoping my ankle starts working again. Nerve damage can take up to 2 years to regen, so I may be walking with this cane for some time to come.

Pagan 2016-06-03 12:55 PM

OUCH!!! What a nightmare!! At least mine is at the easy stage. No matter how bad I hurt, the doctors just say to lose weight. Nice part about being retired is I can make my own schedules now.

Hopefully you will get better very soon, and not have to wait 2 years to get rid of the cane!

Thanks.

My cane is kind of badass though. |loony|

Docs don't really get it, but they're right. I found a way to lose that weight by adjusting the way I eat since I too haven't been able to exercise at all lately.

and not even remotely the coolest. sigh.

CD Smith 2016-06-08 12:05 PM

Okay not as badass as that. :D

Mine has a metalic dark green snakeskin finish to it, with an extra big grip for my massive hands, and a 4-wheel-drive type grip at the bottom for extra stability.

It's quite the shin-whacker.

If I ever need a cane (which may not be long now) I want one with a silver wolf's head, like in the Lon Chaney Jr. movie (or for the younger audience: like in the Benicio del Toro/Anthony Hopkins remake).

Which one? This one? http://www.fashionablecanes.com/117.html

This cane is an exact replica from the popular 1970's soap opera "Dark Shadows".

$589, I like it too.
