Tuesday July 31st - Dodgeball again
 

Another hot day for us here, but then.. it should start to cool down just a degree or so. By the end of the week we should again be seasonal. I can't wait! In the meantime, we have to play dodgeball with thunderstorms again for the next few days. We got lucky and did not have to shut down yesterday, but.. Petri and his parents went into Rauma yesterday. It's only about an hour away and they love to go have lunch and shop there. Things were okay, but I was home, watching a wild storm growing just to the west of them. And wild it was. Lots and lots of rain, trees down, flooding, etc. This is what we may go through today. The news story here is in Finnish, I know, but the pictures are universal. Plus, I also translated most of the story for you.

Yesterday actually went as planned |crazy| Slung some smut, got most of what I wanted to accomplish in the kitchen done, and then got caught up on some TV (Succession & Sharp Objects - both on HBO & both VERY good)

I found out that regulations for underground gas lines are 18" deep, mine was only down 5 sooo I spent all morning digging that out. With this fucking heat/humidity I almost passed out twice but got the trench finished as it only took 5 hours. I'm going to have someone replace the gas line because I don't want to screw that up.

Due to all that work I feel like I was mugged. Hurting all over so I see me taking at least tomorrow off and staying inside working on biz and enjoying the AC with heat and ice applied to various parts of my body.
