So who else here is doing Cams ? (affiliate not performing)
 

I don't see much discussion about Cams anywhere except at the Zoo.

So, who here is making bank with cam sites?

What are you doing? Custom API sites? White Labels?

How are you promoting them? Social Media? SE? Biz cards in the booths at the Peep show?

Me, I do mainly custom API driven sites and then leave the rest to the SEs. Main sponsor is Chaturbate as they seem to get the best sign ups for me.

So, that is the start of the conversation.

We use APIs, white labels and banners to promote most of the top cam sites that haven't been outed for bad business practices.

We are looking for inexpensive custom work on some sites.

Social media promo seems to be the best as well as search engines.

I would warn affiliates about cam model protection. Incompetent knobhead dmca services out of the NL.

I do fairly well with a white label, tends to run hot and cold, but what doesn't these days.

several years ago, when I only did Asian, I did well with CamDough.
But then I got sick for all those years and traffic died and whitelabel died and so on.
I recently started promoting BongaCash, but to soon to say anything about it.
I have no clue how CamDough works these days.

Noob-question. What is API?

Also, how do I find out who's been outed?

I've never had much luck with cams. I did throw Chaturbate up mid 2016 & it took a long time for it to generate any money. Now it's making $50/month or so.

My best cam site pulls a pretty constant $1500-2000/month and has been for 3 years or so.

It took about 6 months after I created it before it started getting traffic, then all of a sudden I got some good keyword placement.

I don't have as good as positions as I did but the traffic is fairly steady.

It takes a while to build up the revenue stream. Got to keep doing new sign ups to cover people who stop spending.

API stands for Application Program Interface. It is a way for an outside application to interface with the data from a site.

In the cam world most APIs are actually XML or JSON feeds although some, like streammate have actual APIs.

You can access the fees and build a custom site.

Maybe I misunderstand, but does this mean that those two cam-sites are not whitelabels, but your pages pulling data from chaturbate and Camsoda?

Whoever made that might want to rotate it a couple degrees left or right...

I noticed something when I searched Gmail the other day. I couldn't find the word I was looking for in one of the emails that came up in the results, but then I looked at a screencap of a page I sent someone & sure enough, the word was text in the image. So, odds are there are ways to ready that.

I made it.

Yeah, I was thinking that if they scanned it they could do image to text.

I will investigate skewing it a bit when I get a chance. Hard to do and make sure it stays readable. I guess I could tell SEs they cannot search my images folder too.

Yes, that is NOT a white label. It is a custom script that reads in the xml feed from chaturbate (json feed on camsoda) and then presents the data on my site.

The actual video is iframed from the origin site. The images are pulled from the cdn from the origin site.
