I'm pretty easy to please nowadays because I no longer expect anything to be good/great no matter who is involved with the project. No predetermined expectations allows me to enjoy a lot more stuff :D |
Finished F Is For Family |thumb
Back to watching TWD as I'm on season 5 |
Finished season 5 of TWD so I'll take a break from that and watch something else.
Also been watching KIPO which is a kids cartoon done by Dreamworks. Kinda got hooked because of my grandson's visit. Grandpa watches cartoons with his breakfast :) |
Watched the series Hollywood (7 episodes) which I thought was good.
Few days ago, on the 20th anniversary, Netflix announced the sequel to Chicken Run :D |
Yesterday I watched:
Inside Bill's Brain Broken - I only watched 2 episodes: Big Vape & Recycling Scam. Both were about an hour long & pretty interesting. I was gonna watch that Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich doc, but The Bitch wants to watch it too, which means I have to wait |angry
I don't think I posted this before. My wife and I are finishing up the last season of Episodes which was originally on Showtime in the States and we're watching on Crave in Canada.
The premise is, "After married couple Sean (Stephen Mangan) and Beverly (Tamsin Greig) Lincoln win yet another BAFTA Award for their successful British sitcom, Lyman's Boys, they are persuaded to move to Hollywood and remake their series for an American audience. Unfortunately, the network starts to make changes and pressures the couple into casting Matt [Friends] LeBlanc in the lead role. Sean becomes friends with Matt, while Beverly is less impressed. Continuing changes to the scripts threaten to damage the show and other pressures result in difficulties in Sean and Beverly's marriage." It's funny and Tamsin Greig's character is my type (smart woman with short hair that you might mistake for a lesbian). |
Wife and I watched Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga which is with Will Ferrell so expect it to be stupid and cheesy but it still made me laugh.
Also finished the last episodes of the kids cartoon KIPO so I may need to find another as I've been enjoying watching cartoons in the morning with my oatmeal and tea. |
Search Netflix for "Explained" - I think there's 4 series by these people, and it's all 20-30 min mini-docs about some damn interesting stuff.

We are watching The Politician and it's a quirky, out there yet predictable kinda show that I'm strangely finding quite funny.
I'm also continuing with The Walking Dead but only like an episode with breakfast while my wife is still sleeping as she watching it on her own account and is way ahead of me. |
I'm watching The Office (US). Not chronologically, I'm pulling random episodes from the seasons. I love The Office. And Pam. |loony|
J:)lly |
I watched The Woods, Polish series converted ot English. I thought it was pretty good |thumb
Next up Warrior Nun :D |
We watched Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich on Netflix - good doc, but what a fucking scumbag.
I also just noticed that Airplane! is now on Netflix |thumb |thumb |
We watched the new George Lopez comedy special on Friday night and it was pretty good.
Then we watched the new Jim Jeffries comedy special last night and |lol| a lot |
I recently watched:
1 - a couple of the Unsolved Mysteries reboot & they were ok, but long. They're only 45-50 min but it felt like they were dragging on & on & on... 2 - Black Monday on Showtime. S1 was great. S2 jumped the shark really quick. I think there's 2 episodes left, so I'll probably watch them just to calm my OCD :D 3 - Mike Wallace Is Here on Hulu and that was pretty interesting look at his life (he's mostly known for his 60 Minutes reporting) I did see that S2 of The Umbrella Academy is coming on July 31st |thumb Quote:

We also watched Jerry Seinfeld's new comedy show and it was good. From the 3 we watched from Friday night to Sunday night I thought Jeffries was best, IMHO. Finished season 7 of The Walking Dead and will continue as it has turned into my breakfast series. We finished The Politician and thought it was pretty funny. Not sure what's up next for my lunch break and evening watching but the queue is full. |

A depraved look into the rich and powerful. |
Just watching telly today and since I'm really into Formula 1, I reactivated Netflix to jump onto season 2. It's a good documentary, for sure!!

The other night I watched "What Happened, Miss Simone". It's the biography of the American Blues and Jazz singer. She was also a part of the American Civil Rights moment. You might know her for "God Damn Mississippi", "Gifted And Black" or the popular "My Baby Just Cares For Me". Very interesting movie. I liked it.
|
I finished the series Gentefied which I enjoyed
and then (no and then) we watched the Netflix movie The Old Guard with Charlize Theron last night which I thought was pretty good. 3rd season of Norsemen starts tomorrow (I believe) |
Finished Norsemen which I still find funny but since it's on that edge of dumb/funny it's probably better if ya just watch a couple of episodes a day versus all 6 in a row.
Also started Warrior Nun and I'm liking it. There was a couple of moments in the very beginning that had us not sure but we let it play out anyways which turned out to be good. |
Finished Warrior Nun last night and I'm glad I let it play out as I really liked it by the end.
Getting close to finishing the last season of The Walking Dead so I'll probably complete that before starting the new season (to Netflix) of Shameless that was released today. |
I watched Frontline on PBS's Amazon Empire: The Rise and Reign of Jeff Bezos which was a great unbiased look at the good & bad of Amazon. It's currently only on PBS that I know of, but I think they eventually put the Frontline shows in the Netflix.
Next up is Fear City: New York vs. The Mafia because The Bitch 💚's her mobsters. |
Finally finished The Walking Dead and now onto Shameless.
|
I watched the 1st 7 episodes of S2 of The Umbrella Academy and so far I really like it. So often these things |trump| the bed in Season 2, but the lack of Art seems to be working for them creators! |couch|

Finished season 2 of The Umbrella Academy last night and we enjoyed it.
Not sure what's next but the queue is full. |

I started watching Connected: The Hidden Science Of Everything and while I like the topics, I can't stand the host & really dislike how parts of it were shot/presented. Kinda cheesy. The Speed Cubers was a quick interesting little doc on people that can solve a Rubix cube in under 7 seconds. ...and finally, I watched all 10 episodes of The Last Dance which is about Michael Jordan & the Chicago Bulls 2 3-peats in the 90's. REALLY good sports doc |thumb |thumb |
Might have to add Umbrella Academy to my watch list as I am out of stuff to watch lol. Finished Good Girls season 3, I like that show.

Watched the series October Faction. Mixed bag between being good, with some unnecessary cheese and parts being bad. Really only continued watching because of Tamara Taylor but overall it was ok. Spaceballs :D Decided to watch it last night (its on netflix) and graphics from the eighties were amazing |lol
I started watching 100 Humans and I really want to bang that redhead...I mean so far it's a really cool show :D
|
I have started the new Wizards: Tales of Arcadia which is a kids cartoon series from Dreamworks for my morning watching. This sorta follows from Troll Hunters and 3 Below that my grandson got me watching. I'm a kid.
Then the wife and I started In the Dark for my lunch and evening watching which is I find quite funny. |
Just finished After Life season 2.
I loved it, pretty dark, though. Funny and emotional as well. Looking forward to s3 Other than that I dunno what I'm going to watch next. Started on Tiger King, but it doesn't interest me at all. Why should I waste time watching a loony loosing it? J:)lly |

Finished the first season of In The Dark and I like it. On to S2.
What's not to like a hot blind woman that like to drink and have meaningless sex and gets entangled with drug dealers and murder. |
