When you Owe Money, Pay it Quickly
This is near and dear to my heart.
First of all, if I have said it once, I have said it a thousand times. The only thing you have in this business is your good name. It takes years of honesty and integrity to build that up but all it takes to lose it is one bad decision.

Case in point...
About a hundred years ago, someone who went by the name of "Honest" Michel decided to keep several Million dollars owed to me. While it did hurt, where is he today? As far as I know, his business in the adult industry ended shortly thereafter. I admit, this example is a bit extreme.

So, here is another a little less extreme...
A couple of years ago, I owed someone $400 for work. To me, it wasn't a lot of money and I truthfully forgot about it. The person didn't remind me until it was almost too late. When this person finally did remind me, they were a week from being thrown out of their apartment for non-payment of rent. I immediately paid them and they live in the same apartment today.

My point is, you never know how much the person is counting on money owed. If you owe someone money and are able, pay it. If you aren't able, make arrangements. And never, cut off communication.
