Revshare Programs With Trials & No Trial Tours
I'm in the process of compiling my all time revshare stats & I came across some numbers that caught my eye. I've been promoting this program for over 3 years. They are a 50/50 revshare program & they offer tours that have a $5 3 day trial (converting to $30/month) as well as tours that have no trial (just the $30/month option) I have promoted each since I joined the program & for the most part, it was all Link List & Free Site traffic. Now take a look at these numbers:

No Trial - 169,333 hits - 109 signups - 1:1,553 - $3,381.36
Trial - 210,068 hits - 234 signups - 1:897 - $3,691.84

Now be honest: as you read those numbers, did you conclude that the Trial option was better because the conversion ratio is almost twice as good as the No Trial? If so, you are with a growing number of people that are incorrect.

The Trial option is making $15.78/sale while the No Trial option is making me $31.02/sale - over twice as much! The money per click numbers may look very close - $0.0175 Trial vs $0.0198 No Trial - but when you're looking at a 3 year time frame, those fractions of a cent add up.

The moral of the story is that just because something converts better does not mean that you're making more money. Look at all the numbers & then make your decision.
