The Greenguy And Jim Radio Show Hour
Because of the Holidays, sporting events, vacation, Vegas and other crap, we are on hiatus until January 23rd.

We will be back with a bigger, better radio show than ever. Not really, it will be the same old stuff I believe.

I may have Complained but, my Vacation was Great

For the first time since I started in this business 10 years ago, I finally took a real vacation. It was supposed to be 2 weeks and I did really try to stay offline but, I did have to check my email. And, I did post a few times complaining about being away from work.

But, it was what the proverbial doctor ordered. My wife and I spent most of the first week delivering Christmas Gifts to a bunch of teens that only received gifts from us this year. We were proud to deliver gifts to over 280 teens this year. That is a new record for us. We did this only during the mornings. The rest of the day during that first week was spent watching nothing but Christmas movies. :) It seems if it was about Christmas, we watched it.

The second week, just after Christmas, we did nothing but spend the days with our Children and Grandchildren. This year I truly spent time with my family and friends as I suggest each and every year.

And, although it was hard getting back into the swing of things, my batteries have been recharged. I no longer dread waking up and traveling to my office (down the hall from my bedroom) and going to work. The thing I tried to accomplish, worked better than I could have ever imagined.

Do yourself a favor and pencil in a week or two of a real vacation. A vacation that has absolutely nothing to do with work. A vacation where some days, you never even turn on your pc (or mac to a lesser extent). I think if you do this, you will find a new vigor towards the business we all know and love.

Have a Great Day!
Greenguy and Jim
