If You Run A Board, Never Run Any Site Map Program While Logged In

As most of you have seen, I broke the board yesterday. I ran a piece of software that creates Site Maps for Google and yet, I was still logged in on the board. I never thought of logging off nor did I ever think there would ever be a problem.

But, what the program did was start clicking everything I have access to. And, as an Administrator of the Board, there are things I have access to that I should never click :)

It seems to have started with my "new posts" and started deleting post by post. You can see Thread Titles but, some threads are empty. But, it gets worse...
When I first saw a problem with the board, I logged into the Admin section which gave the site map bot a clear run of the Admin. We are still trying to figure out what it did.

Creating Site Maps is very common. But, if you run any "bot" type software on anything that has buttons that you can click with a logon and password, log off before you run it.

And, I am sorry for breaking the board. It looks like we lost some posts that go back to a couple of days ago. But, never did I think creating a site map would cause a problem.

Have a Great Day!
Greenguy and Jim
