If you saw those 2 descriptions next to each other while surfing a Link List. Which one would you click on?
I see a lot of webmasters putting time and effort into creating great sales text either on it's own or adjacent to a sponsors banner inside their free sites.
Only to give such a generic description of the site itself when submitting. If a surfer doesn't even make it inside your site, he'll never see the wonderful ad copy you have written.
Don't be shy to use up all, or as close to, all the characters you are allowed to use for each link list you submit to. A few minutes on writing a good description can drastically increase the amount of surfers choosing your site instead of the next guy's!
