Get a Real Email Address

Day in and day out I see people that call themselves webmasters using free email accounts from yahoo, hotmail...etc.

If you are using these services, your credibility of doing business online is tarnished. Imagine what your customers would think when they see your Hotmail or Yahoo contact email address? If you need to sign up for any online business programs, note that some programs may simply reject these free email accounts. Not to mention that it is becoming more commonplace for link lists and tgps to reject your submission simply because of this.

The only reason I can see other than not being serious about your business for using one of these addresses is to remain anonymous. Anonymity equates to dishonesty.

Simply ask whoever is hosting your sites to setup an email account for you. Even the "less than stellar" hosts can forward email to your isp account. If you are using a free host, that is another story. Get out of the business now.

Have a Great Day!
