iBill and CCBill Using the Same Bank?

After reading this Article, I started thinking about putting all your eggs in one basket.

Both Credit Card Processors now seem to be using Merrick Bank to process their transactions. Assuming that this is true and that there won't be yet another iBill change, I have to wonder, is that good for our business?

I have to say, NO!
With all the Credit Card Processing problems we have seen over the years, I think the last thing we want is to have 2 of the largest processors using the same bank. If that bank has problems, (and it has happened before) we will not just lose another processor, we would lose 2.

My tip to you...
If you are using cascading billing, do not use iBill and CCBill together.

Take the time to read the Forbes Article fully. And understand the ramifications. Also, take a look at AVN's Article, HERE.

I suspect the news is not all good.

Of course...I could be completely wrong :)
