Visitors From Other Forums
We have recently had a flood of visitors and posters that are usually found on other forums. While we appreciate the new visitors, it makes me wonder what the other forums are doing wrong :) Maybe, once new people are tired of seeing pictures of people's cars, bikes and fake girlfriends and answering "Yes, they would hit it", they decide it's time to get to business and stop playing games.

I just wanted to take a minute to welcome all the new people that we see visiting everyday.

Tutorials
As most of you know, I have been searching for the best tutorials. I have been getting some almost everyday and appreciate it very much. But, I still need more. This will be for a new section on GreenguyandJim. So, here is what I need and what you will get for helping out :)

I am looking for people that have written or are willing to write step by step tutorials. I am looking for the most basic information to anything more advanced. If you have something you are willing to share, just click HERE and send me an email with the tutorial or the URL of the tutorial you are willing to share. If we use your tutorial, you will receive full credit and a link to your site on GreenguyandJim.

Where Will Your Traffic Come From? (Part 1)

It is estimated that up to 60% of new traffic to your Web site will come from search engines. This means that unless you are already so well known that people will be using your name to search for your site, you need a search engine strategy. Thousands of new Web sites are created daily, so the axiom "Build it, and they will come" does not apply.

Effective Web site promotion requires a serious and continuing investment of time and resources, whether you do it yourself, or hire a professional. It is not a one-shot deal, but an ongoing process, meaning you should evaluate the return on your investment. You can collect a vast amount of crucial information about your traffic, and make strategic business development decisions, in ways that are unprecedented in the real world.

A friend sent me a 6 page document on goals and Search Engine Optimization. Obviously, it is too long for the newsletter so I will give it to you in separate parts. Stay tuned for Part 2 :)

Have a Great Day!
Greenguy and Jim
