In Business without knowing HTML
Recently someone asked on our forum if anyone was in this business without knowing html.
When I first started in this business, you had to know basic html or you were going to go nowhere very quickly. But with the more recent rash of Hosted Free Sites, Sponsor Hosted Galleries, Gallery Builders and cheap designers, it is possible to start in this business without any html knowledge. But, be ready to spend quite a bit of money before you see any return at all.
The best way to start in this business we all know and love is to study, study, and study. Either read as many online tutorials as you can, buy some html books or, take a class in basic html. If you try to start making money before you even know how to put a link code on a page, you are doomed before you even begin. And believe me, there are a lot of people out there that can't even do that simple task.
The most important part of this job is to learn as much as you possibly can. Someone recently said, "If I don't learn something new during a day, it was a day wasted". I have felt that way for 8 years.
Have a Good Day
