.xxx Domain Names
While watching my favorite morning news television show yesterday, I was surprised to see them talking about .xxx domain names. While I am in favor of adult sites using .xxx domains to stop children from accessing our sites, the conditions for this extension are unacceptable.
There were 2 women on the news show, Donna Rice, against the extension and someone else that was supposed to be on our side.
First, where the hell do we come up with these representatives? I remember several years ago, congress had someone testify for "us" that I would not want to watch my dogs. Much less represent my interests in this business.
The woman on "our" side either knew nothing about this business or was just a complete moron. She said, that adult site owners would be very willing to sign a contract that states, we will give up our domain names, never use popups and not show child porn in exchange for the "privilege" of using the .xxx extension.
