Sunday December 23rd (aka Fantasy Football Finals!)

Morning!

#1,387 for the year: Whoever rewired this house is a fucking moron. One of my To Do List items yesterday was to swap out all the plugs & switches in the kitchen from white to black to match the color scheme. It's not a big kitchen, maybe 15x20. I had 10 total to swap out. How many circuit breakers you think I had to turn off to do them all? 2, maybe 3? Our kitchen runs off FIVE total breakers

There's 2 ceiling lights & those both run off the breaker that the TV & all the components run off, as well as the light in the bathroom* and...get ready for it...MY ENTIRE FUCKING OFFICE!

I was worried about running all the TV stuff off a breaker that I assumed was shared with the rest of the living room. Now I'm amazed I haven't blown up the panel yet! Yell has a buddy that's an electrician, so I'm gonna have to call him pretty fucking soon before I blow something up.
*We have a full bath & a half bath. Each has 1 light & 1 plug. The light for each is on 1 breaker. The plug for each is on another. Who the fuck wires a house like this???

So anyway, those 10 plugs & switches took me a good 8 hours yesterday & needless to say, nothing else on the list got done

I may do 1 or 2 other things today, because I had planned on working while watching football & praying to the Fantasy Gods (they're all fantasy anyway, right?) that I win at least 1 of the 3 Playoff Finals I'm in. 2 of the teams I'm playing had Rivers at QB & he shit the bed rather nicely last night, so I'm off to a good start

G'day

I've been doing a lot of stuff this month and now I'm paying for it.
I'm completely worn out and my body aches like a heavy flu. It's not the flu.
But I'm trying to stay as positive as I can, although yesterday I got an urge to eat a bunch of the pills I'm trusted to have.
I didn't, loosing them would be the worst.
What shocks me the most is that one of Norway's largest ISP does not have emergency routines. "Your TV and Net went to hell? Well, get in line with those who still have it but need help with something else ..."

So, yesterday I played RDR2.
I also started to see if I can change some routines to the better, sometimes I feel like I'm wasting a lot of time while working.

Later today I will attend an AA meeting, I need that now.

Morning

My sleep patterns are all fucked up and I'm just tired but can't sleep. Not sure if the funk is causing this or this is causing the funk.

Got work to do and still need to clean up the house for the festivities that start tomorrow night.

I did ride my bike around all of the little track yesterday as we've had no rain and I applied some fresh dry dirt to the wet areas that do not get sun during the winter months. Should be good to go for a grandson/grandpa ride on Xmas day

The three of you have me shuddering... amazed there has been no fire at Greenie's house with that wack wiring job. My sleep patterns are messed up, but not from the funk. We just have an erratic schedule at times. Like yesterday - neither one of us reaiized we had to go to town before 3pm to get our Christmas ham from the butcher. Guess who was carefully racing along the snowy streets to make it there in time?? You betcha. Naturally, we forgot things, so we had to go back to town today. Grrrr..

And Jolly... your original plan sounded good. Clean things up, organize. Build so that you are ready to upload. I would almost trade places with you just to get that kind of stuff done without the distraction of the net itself. TV too? Hmmm.. Music... You can do this. Breathe slowly... develop a fight plan and go for it. If that fails, I bet you can change carriers nice and quick. We did that a few years back because of a similar issue and never looked back.
