My sister took me out to dinner yesterday, as it was my birthday. Unfortunately it was Sunday, and most of the restaurants were closed.

We eventually found an Indian curry house which was a nice place, but curry is not the ideal meal for someone who has to limit the quantity of liquid he drinks! I had squid masala with onion and garlic rice, and chili cauliflower as a side. They were delicious.

However visually squid masala is the most revolting dish to look at. You would think squid is a revolting enough dish to look at anyway, and that it is impossible to make squid look worse. Not true. The sauce was thick and light brown, looked like incipient poop. The squid had been cut into thin strips that looked like earthworms. These stuck up out of the poop like real worms. To make matters worse, the squid worms are "rubbery" so as you lifted a fork full of this worm filled poop to your mouth they wobbled, looking like live worms wriggling.

But if you could get over the look of it, it was delicious. And the chili cauliflower was even better.

My sister (as usual) ordered no main, but a whole pile of sides, then found she could not eat them all. I could not finish up all my rice. All this was put in a doggy bag, so I have leftovers for lunch today.

Driving, driving, driving...
Had a great first week driving for Uber. My net was almost $600.

Grocery store and then driving for Uber. Really wondering if staying in adult is even worth it at this point.

In other news, Google gmail just released an update today to block any email with .js files in them, including zip attachments. Ran into that trying to email someone a WordPress plugin.

In other other news, put my home for sale on Zillow this morning, and purchased a flat fee MLS listing service. Just waiting on their paperwork.

Spent all of yesterday & most of this morning packing & moving crap. We're having the house appraised this weekend. This move is really starting to sink in

Gonna try & get caught up on some work now before The Bitch comes home & makes me to more physical labor

I've been working on and off each day. Doing about 6 hours total a day 7 days a week.

I'm on a deadline to finish the renovations here and get my ass out so we can sell. It's going to be an interesting year. My plan is to hit the road, and now my daughter is planning to move to North Carolina with her friend in June. I told my son to make his mother buy him a gaming laptop so he can come on the road with me for awhile. He is going to be absolutely lost without his big sister.

We have just over 3 days until we see Michael Monroe. Poor husband is so excited he can't sleep.
