Adwords problem

I designed and am hosting a site for a friend who sent me this email today.

" I just got a response from google and I'm a little pissed.

They have what they call "auto-tagging" issues. I told them that from Dec12-Feb11, I had about 1600 clicks going to my "http://www.petersonlegal.ca/traffic.html" extension.

They told me that they add code on the end, so it's actually "http://www.petersonlegal.ca/traffic.html/?gclid=dest".

So everyone who clicked on my traffic ad got an error message, and didn't goto the site. The people who clicked on my small claims ad didn't have the same problem.

So they are asking either to use a URL builder or ask my webmaster to "allow URL parameters".

They told me this is a problem on my end. I said that it wasn't, and if it was, why are they offering me a partial refund?

Anyways, is there a way to "allow URL parameters" on my site?

This is important, as it is apparently costing me money every day."

Weird thing is, his Adwords work on http://www.petersonlegal.ca/small_claims.html work fine.

Any ideas?
