Blogs on free hosts tend to be forgotten and vanish plus you want to control the hosting so so that the free service doesn't one day take you down or something.
Nice looking blog. If you get it off free hosting and install Wordpress on your server you should have no problem finding people to trade with. Then you could have something like
www.jacklynlick.com/blog/ for your blog's url instead of a subdomain on Wordpress's server.
Wordpress is a super easy to install and free.
