As if anyone cares...

This problem where Windows updated & suddenly I have no speakers has lead me down a rabbit hole of Windows fuckups

Apparently this Windows 10 Version 1803 update, which is a BIG ONE, shows that it's at 0% downloading anytime I go to Windows Update in Settings, but if I go to the Update History, it shows Windows 10 Version 1803 as the last update & that it requires a restart to finish installings. I've restarted it at least 5 times

So I ran the Windows Update Troubleshooter & restarted again & now it shows that it's at 65% of downloading Windows 10 Version 1803, so I'll restart when it hit 100% &

my speakers come back, but if I remember correctly, this update takes a good 3-4 hours

so if anyone needs me, find a workaround
