This made me think of
the last concert at Darien Lake* before they installed permanent seating (no, I wasn't there, but it was BIG news)
*Darien Lake is a Six Flags about 1/2 way between Buffalo & Rochester that has a 21,000
** seat amphitheater.
**The arena
*** in Buffalo holds 19,000 for hockey, but that's gotta be less for concerts.
***The stadium holds 71,000
**** for football but Wiki shows the attendance of The Jacksons Victory Tour in 1984 was 94,000. Point is, no one even comes close to filling it anymore (The Rolling Stones had 50,000 in 2015, Guns N Roses had 35 when I saw them there in 2017)
****The stadium used to hold 80,290 for football & there was a time in the 90's that we were the biggest NFL stadium after Cleveland did some renovations & dropped from 83,000 to 78,000 in 1992. We're currently 10th.
PS - One fact I never knew about the stadium I grew up 3 miles from:

There were notable large concerts that were scheduled to take place at the stadium but were later canceled. Led Zeppelin was set to perform at the stadium on their 1977 North American Tour. The concert was one of the seven remaining concerts on the tour that were canceled due to the death of lead singer Robert Plant's son.
