$7 for ice? Damn! Fortunatly here in AL., the local organizations have been handing out dry ice/regular ice and water at the various public buildings to help all those who were hit hard or will be going without power alot longer than we had to.
A day or two before all this hit, the people started getting unruly and practicaly mobbed the local stores for water, bread and all that. The shelves were cleaned out within hours. Seeing that as it happened got me a little worried about what the reactions will be if a much bigger disaster were to ever hit around here or elsewhere in the U.S. I can say without doubt that myself and my wife would be packing up and moving to someplace safer ASAP. These people here virtualy paniced (but for good reason too). Just not alot of rational thinking was going on dureing all of this.
