Simon - those hosted free sites you see available were not there yesterday - and trying them today they are all dead.
Yesterday when I first tried them the domain itself was going to a parking page.
Maybe they got one of my emails or saw this thread and are trying to resurrect it although its possible the DNS hasnt finished propagating
