Komposer is nvu reborn - nvu was abandoned, sombody worked on its code more and came up with komposer.
Pagebreeze free edition "felt" better than komposer to me for simple page work. Dont be tricked into buying the pagebreeze pro version tho - it's basicaly the free version that they allow you to open up multiple instances of.
Coffeecup isn't horrible. Probably the best of the free ones.
It's a shame, komposer could be good.
