IMHO, She knew she could not win re-election or knew it would be very close, either way it would cost her points for the GOP in 2012. And her big pipeline project looks doomed and she has based her entire Governorship on that one subject.

I think she will either run for the Senate or FOX news and run in 2012.

I've said it before, she hardly survived 6 weeks of vetting, there is no way she can survive 3+ years of vetting, as of the last CNN poll she was #2 for the GOP in 2012 but only had 22% which I think is her entire popularity in the US, I can not see any way she can convince 50%+ of the United States to vote for her since she is such a nut job.

The train wreck is starting...
