You also have to consider the larger than normal home field advantage. Hawaii only played two games against opponents that finished the season above .500 and both of those games were in Hawaii. They don't play any non-conference games on the road.
Georgia on the other hand has defeated 4 ranked teams, three of those on the road. We'll find out on January 1 if Hawaii really belongs in a BCS bowl game.
