Saw the doctor. He agreed with me that the finger is not getting better and will need more surgery. I showed him the list of Aetna approved doctors and had him help me pick one that he knew and got my medical records. Will be seeing the new doctor on the 30th which was as soon as he had an opening. Should be easy enough to fix the tendon again but then I will need to wear a splint again for four weeks but in the meantime I have decided to go splintless so besides having a middle finger that doesn't work correctly at least I'm no longer in discomfort.
