TGPX Question

Before I spend an hour on trial & error....

The Sponsor field for galleries: it's not listed on the Common Template Variables page (docs/templates-common.html) but does anyone know if you can do this:
{$gallery.sponsor}
Where the Sponsor would show on the page with all the other gallery info/fields and if so, can you also set it up to link to that Sponsor?

Why am I asking? I was wondering if I could use this existing option as a Model database :)

I just tested it, {$gallery.sponsor} in the template does display the sponsor name.

Another option, you can create user defined fields, for example model_name, then display that value using {$gallery.model_name}

Can you also set up links to the sponsors or the individual user defined fields?

Fuck! Since it'd be for a model, I'd need 2 links to be associated with each: 1 to her page on my site & 1 to her official website (if she has one).

Still basically brainstorming ideas for a new LOR admin.

You can add more than one user defined field.

I was looking at TGPX today. Found a version at git that was updated to PHP 5.5 but still was using the mysql libraries.

I was wondering if it would be worthwhile for me to go through and update a version to use the PDO libraries or MYSQLi so it could be used on PHP 5.6 and higher.

Do any of you have a version that is no longer using the mysql libs?

Only then GG could fit/redo to his needs with TGPX.
Model tag pages and search scripts without mysqli or pdo aren't secure enough or at all with mysql.

If that would allow for me to implement all my bells & whistles, I'd be willing to throw a couple* bucks to anyone that could help |thumb
*Please keep in mind it's 2018 & not 2008 :D

GG. Things you want to implement are actually not really hard to do or most of it. And they can be done now on old mysql querries. IT'S just pointless to invest into already outdated script without first bringing secured db queries up to date. |crazy||huh

I want to add that I failed to bring LinkX up to date. I just created my own very custom script. It was easier.
