Just realized I forgot to stop by here yesterday |facepalm| I did work about half the day. The Bitch had some work friends over for a little in-person lunch since none of them have seen each other in 3+ months.

I didn't sleep much, so I think I'll go back to bed in about an hour when The Bitch gets up because if I go down there now, odds are one of the dogs will hear me & start yapping, which will wake The Bitch & force her to start yapping. I like to avoid being yapped at :D

As stated, took yesterday off other than an hour or so mid afternoon. Working today until mid day then wife and I need to go to the cottage to get some things done as she is having a birthday party for a friend from work and has about 10-12 people going to our cottage for it. One thing I need to do is mow the lawn and I do not have a ride on yet, so it'll be about an hour to do with my push mower |loony|

In Canada, bars and restaurants are open BUT ONLY PATIO, so no inside seating at all. Spread out seating etc too of course. Golf courses are open but no ball washers, no taking the flag out on the green, no inside beers after as it's all closed! The US just opened every fucking thing up so of course the virus is spreading out of control. Close, then open everything |huh Idiots in charge in the US

My wife and I were talking about the States reopening. I said there was one thing that struck me. That is, what were the politicians (really) thinking? Sure, they lie and then they lie to cover up the lies but did they think that this would some how stop the virus? Are they stupid? We knew this accelerated outbreak is exactly what would happen. If you know what the hell they were thinking then please enlighten me.

So, today I am going to the dentist where she'll be suited up like Neil Armstrong. Other than that, I've got some billing to do and a little bit of web work. I am trying to take it easy for a little while and enjoy life. Oh year, we saw a 1 bedroom condo for my daughter and we'll be putting in an offer. Prices continue to be stupidly high in Toronto despite COVID. I guess it's because interest rates are near zero.

I took yesterday off, besides updates for PL & ETN. It was kinda nice as I just sat on the couch watching tv for almost 12 hours straight. It was a much needed break though feeling like a slacker today.

Today it's back to the normal biz and outside other stuff plus the usual dose of tv, more biz and a nap plus a run to the grocery store.

My boss is off for the next two weeks, so that's nice. It will give me a break from some of the odd jobs he digs up for me to do. I never agreed to work when they hired me, and I want that on the record.

I decided to dive in to the stock market, so I installed the Robinhood app last night. When do I know if I'm rich? Will they message me or something?

It's like the rest of the world isn't even trying to kill off their citizens. SAD.

It's because they are still testing!!! Now if they weren't doing any more tests, then the numbers would not keep going on. Besides, we know all the hospitals are mis-reporting everything because they get more for COVID.

And... I am totally joking. The numbers go up like crazy because 'Muricans can't think and follow guidelines. If they had done the mask/distancing/handwashing in March, the numbers would not be so bad. Just ask a Canadian! The virus is so bad in the US that the EU is seriously talking about not allowing them to visit until it is under control. We don't want a 2nd wave. The tourist dollars would be nice, but not the virus that comes with it.

We had a nice break in the heatwave. It's a balmy 16 outside right now (60 for you 'Muricans) but my workroom remains a stuffy 26 (79F) Between The Cat, The Husband, and the heat, I am whipped. Stuff didn't get done today, but that can't be helped. In the morning, I must go chasing a needle in a haystack... sigh. I think I go cool off in the sauna.

|lol| That little bump in April/May was quite upsetting for everyone here. That's why the infection rate plummeted again, I guess.
