Thursday - June 25th - IT'S TOO DAMNED HOT!
 

We have had a heatwave the last 10 days or so, with daytime temps close to 90 (30 to the real world) and night time temps this week above 70 (over 20). There are no cool spots, especially if you work in a room with at least 2 computers, a desk light, and a TV all running within about an arm's length from you. Can't focus, can't concentrate. Today will be the worst of the lot. After this it cools down a bit, and then Monday, we are back to a more normal pattern. I told The Husband, we HAVE to have AC if the summers are going to be like this. The Cat agrees.

No heat wave here, we had that, it passed. We were even warmer, 34-35 with "feels like" 40 1 or 2 days and same deal, still 20+ at night. But we have AC, cannot live without it in Ottawa. Our cottage does not have AC which is why I've only stayed there one night so far :D But I bought a portable air conditioner so we're good now I hope because really, in Ottawa in the summer, AC is an essential service |loony| Cooler today, only going to be 23 but the next 10 days varies between 28 and 32 again |thumb

Working all day, might head to the cottage this afternoon and tinker around, one being set up the AC I bought |bow|

Thankfully cooler June gloom temps continue and I've been taking advantage of it. Of course now my back and neck are hurting so may skip that today. Hoping I loosen up in the next couple of hours but probably should not push it anyways.

At least I still have biz/tv and napping to do :D

Yesterday evening before sunset I decided to go for a |JustRobert| along the coast passing |trump| golf course. I needed to do that more than I thought :)

It's warm here (high twenties) but as Ramster said the majority of people have AC.

Website launch is put off due to some last minute design issues. Meh. Just doing some catch up on some other things.

Woke up late & had some running around to do, then I started working & realized I forgot to pop in over here :)

I fucked off all of yesterday & watched some Netflix, as well as the movie Us which was pretty good for a |scared| movie.

My mom somehow lost her TV remote in a nursing home that's been on lockdown for 3+ months |facepalm| so I'm gonna have to run her over the new one once UPS drops it off. Plus my stepdaughter is coming to get a hutch that buried in my garage |facepalm|
