I think that means that it was across https://. Not 100% positive on that.

Add This just informed SWIM that traffic across all the sites SWIM uses them on was up 11% from the previous week. Here's a bar graph for all the nerds :D

SWIM also looked at all their GA stats & ALL had an increase in SE traffic over the last few days. Some were small, like 1-2/day. Some were big, up 100/day. Most were moderate at 15-30/day. But a majority of those had 0's for the previous 10 days |thumb

Keyword "not provided" means that Google is hiding string referrers behind those hashy url's. IP and timestamp ( and god knows what else ) sensitive. Five or so year old story.

Basically it means that they get all the data just for themselves. |banghead|

edit: it's worth mentioning that all the browsing privacy started with this one.

If you're tracking stats using data in http headers, anything coming in via https links will be encrypted, so most of the data is not accessible by your stats tracking software.

I pulled up the stats for my five main sites, SE traffic over the last week has nearly doubled. That's still not a huge amount of my total traffic, but I'll take it.

It's still early but I'm back to where I was before these updates rolled out last month. Actually I'm a couple K's a day ahead of my previous average.

SWIM's been looking at everything in depth around the middle of each month, but SWIM did look at a couple of the bigger sites & while they all dropped off after March & April's spike, they are still above the numbers for Jan & Feb, so SWIM's happy :)
