I picked this (http://reason.com/blog/2014/04/28/doj-operation-chokepoint-and-porn-stars)up on Reddit. They seem to be targeting among other things adult film stars.

I am somewhat amused that the senator from Louisiana and AB/DL fetishist is particularly perturbed by this.

Whoopee. If the US government kills the US porn business, those people wanting to watch fucking are going to have to buy it from us Europeans. And being in one of the few other countries that (nearly) speaks the same language as America I should clean up (Australians don't count, it is illegal to run porn sites over there). Seems the DOJ wants to help me finance my first movie. Good on them.

Of course their actions will also screw with the US balance of payments since this will not only mean less money coming into the US, it will also mean US money leaving the country as Americans buy British porn. It could conceivably force the US back into recession and leave over half the country living in "Hoovervilles".

But this is a small price to pay if it means my film gets made. After all, what is the economy of one of the largest nations in the world? Surely that can be sacrificed so that the rest of us get to see my film "War Of The Amazon Women" and it's planned sequels!

I think this sucks, being punished for doing something legal?

But as Ecchi says, maybe that's a good thing for us Europeans...

Wanna go into partnership Ecchi? |bow|

Not yet, but I do have an "investor's package". However it is illegal for me to bandy it about, I have to work through an IFA as a middle man.

ChokePoint Op is indeed scary. Funny how the scary initiatives keep rolling out under Obama's tenure.

More fuel to my belief that neither party are in charge ...the gov and its funders are controlling them. And the controllers are a small tight knit group.

Funny, people still drink the kool aid that teaches American kids that America was founded by people seeking freedom. Quite the opposite really.

Scary and true yes. "Freedom" is long gone for the most part. :(

I don't think the aim is the porn biz, but any biz that is primarily cash only. Chase seems to be the only one terminating Porn related accounts. If porn were a deliberate target Chase wouldn't be the only one.

This is why the porn people feel it is Chase that is targeting them rather than the US Gov
