Tumblr Community Guidelines

[PhoneMistress]

While setting up my free site templates to promote on Twitter and Tumblr, I decided to re-read Tumblr's policy statements. I quote:

...We're not in the business of profiting from adult-oriented videos and hosting this stuff is fucking expensive...Tumblr (http://www.tumblr.com/policy/en/community)

Is ...is that a typo? I just found it funny. For a moment there I thought I was reading the guidelines for a link list or tgp :)

[Cleo]

That is pretty FUCKING funny and a bit ironic. :D

Here is the whole paragraph. Ding, ding, ding... xHamster
Uploading Sexually Explicit Video. You can embed anything as long as it follows the other guidelines on this page. But please don't use Tumblr's Upload Video feature to host any sexually explicit videos. We're not in the business of profiting from adult-oriented videos and hosting this stuff is fucking expensive. You can use services like xHamster to host those instead.

IKR! They are promoting xHamster. Who do I need to FUCK to get on that list?

"use services like xHamster to host"

I'm quite certain that is the policy in place before the sale to Yahoo, but of course the videos are horrendous on there, mostly hookers showing clips of themselves dancing or having sex.
