I've had it up to my ass with this stupid fucking company. I've been trying for a week to make it so I can load the account with my credit card in order to pay out affiliates and for the 3rd time now they've rejected my document. Now they say "higher quality scan/photograph of your document".

What? I need a $1000 scanner to scan the fucking thing now? As you can tell from this rant I am REALLY getting pissed off.

It's fucking me, it's my fucking card!
-I uploaded a scan of my drivers license
-I uploaded a scan of my passporte and a scan
-I uploaded a scan of the fucking credit card front and back
-I've uploaded a scan of the sign document (the issue) showing the signature in BLUE INK like you ask and now a-fucking-gain I have an issue.

If anyone from Paxum is reading this tell someone at your company to WAKE THE FUCK UP!!!!!!

Hi Ramster,

I'm sorry you're experiencing difficulties getting your credit card verified to your account. I'd be happy to look into the issue for you.

Do you already have an open ticket in our system regarding this matter? If you don't, please open one now.

Once you have a ticket open, please contact me and let me know your Paxum account email address and the ticket number and I'll look into this for you.

Sent you an email since I have not heard back on the 4th time I sent a scan of the signed form in which late morning today.

Ramster

REJECTED AGAIN for the 4th time

"We kindly ask you to submit a photo of the Card Authorization Form, making sure that all the margins of the document are clearly visible.

Please make sure that the document is centered and the margins of the document do not touch the margins of the scan or photograph."

I guess they don't like my scanner and now I have to take a photograph of it and send it? WOW. The best part is the form is home in Ottawa and I am at work all week in Montreal so now I'll have to wait and do it Saturday, 4 fucking days from now

And this after the last scan I sent I was sure to "making sure that all the margins of the document are clearly visible"

I guess I'll have my wife take a picture of it tonight and she can email it to me then I can download it and then I can upload it AGAIN to Paxum. Wow this is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much fun.

Haha, I had this same problem and it frustrated me to no end. How many super high quality scans of each document do they really need? (Maybe it's some kind of future ID theft idea they have going if adult fails)

I uploaded my passport, and license in high quality, like they asked. They wanted them both again because they weren't clear enough. Then they wanted my photo again holding my ID, then they wanted that again because THAT wasn't clear enough, apparently one tiny corner of my passport was missing (which had nothing written there) because they wanted the borders like you said Ramster. This was with my most expensive still camera on its highest resolution setting. I wasn't sending them compressed, difficult to read images.

After I had my partner (instead of my tripod) take the photo, whilst I was holding up all of my documentation with a silly grin instead of the "photo face" like those on my documents, Paxum finally accepted it. I also attached a small note to the message saying how I thought the procedure was a little excessive, but it worked, eventually.

It seems they really don't make it easy to verify an account.

I thought about getting a Paxum account, but there's absolutely no way in hell I'd put up with all that nonsense. I don't really *need* an account, so there's no incentive for me to jump through the ridiculous hoops I see in this thread and many others on other boards.

I'm sure there are a lot of people who don't even bother applying for this same reason (as I've seen others say), and that many potential users abandon the application process when they get tired of the repeated failures.

Maybe one day they'll figure out how to make signing up a lot easier. In the meantime they're just throwing away business that could be theirs.

I can't believe the problems that Ramster and others are having.

I keep a high rez scan of my driver's license on my hard drive and have never had any issues getting accepted.

Personally I've had zero issues with Paxum.

Maybe they have blind person that takes care of ID identification :)
These days you can counterfeit everything and no HD scans will help nor any other super pictures of documents, soon they ask you to SKYPE with them for few minutes while reading your bio for them, showing your hidden tattoos and your birth certificate.

I'm with Cleo - I don't remember having any problems with registering with Paxum & haven't had any since.

Ramster

I've given up. Registering wasn't an issue or was confirming my identity. That worked first time.

The issue is having it allow me to use my credit card load my paxum account, that's it. I sent in a copy of my drivers license and passport again (old ones expired) and there was no issue with them. I sent in a scan of my credit card fonrt and back, no issue. But their damn paperwork showing my signature keeps getting rejected.

Does THIS look hard to read? Can you NOT see my name and signature clearly? (I blurred out the card and my address obviously to show you the form)

Hi Ramster,

I do apologize for not getting back to you about this sooner. I was out of town at the XBiz Miami show and unfortunately during the show I lost access to my computer.

Since returning I have followed up with support and confirmed that your credit card documentation has been verified in our system. You are simply one step away from verification of your credit card.

Here is what you need to do to complete the process:

- Login to your Paxum Account
- Visit Profile Settings>>>Credit Cards>>>Click on CONFIRM NOW
- After you click Confirm, the verification amount will be deducted.
- Check your credit card statement for the amount (in USD)
- Enter that amount in Profile Settings>>>Credit Cards>>>Click on CONFIRM NOW>>> Insert Verification Amount in the box

That should then confirm your credit card into our system.

Please contact me if you have any difficulties or if you have any additional questions.

Thanks for working with us to resolve this issue.
Best,

Ruth :)

So I did that and got:

"Card Verification Debit Amount Under Review

Your card verification request has been sent for manual review by one of our operators. Please do not attempt to resubmit the request until a decision is made, because your transaction may be duplicated."

MANUAL REVIEW? Can't you guys make anything easy? I guess I'll wait again for someone to get back to me.

Go to www.paxum.com
Select "Login" from menu
Select "Forgot my password"
Follow the instructions on the page
Check your email to get your password

The problem is that I got just autoreply (containing this info) with NO PASSWORD. Then I got info about opened ticked, but I can't login there, because I haven't password. ;)

So what to do now? I've write you but after 2 days still got no reply...

Sorry Ruth but your company has got to be the worst there is.

Seriously, it took me how long to get my credit card approved so I could add funds instantly? I'll tell you how long, about 2 weeks. So that is lol in itself.

Now I added $400 to my account Sunday, didn't go in right away even though it is suppose to be "instant" and I thought well it is Sunday so maybe. Then by Tuesday morning I create a ticket to ask what the problem is. I get a response they are looking into it. A full day later I finally say what is taking so long? It is suppose to be instant!!!! And I now get a response:
"Your situation is still being investigated. We assure you that as soon as an answer is available we will provide it for you, in a reply posted to this ticket.

Please do not hesitate to contact us should you need additional information. "

I love the "Please do not hesitate to contact us should you need additional information"... INFORMATION? Yes I need information! what the fuck is taking so long? I've used my credit card before to load funds! I have plenty of money in the account ! What the fuck is the hold up!! Add the funds already, Jesus H Christ!

I just cannot fathom the incompetence of this company.

Ramster,

I apologize for the continued delay. We use a 3rd party processor for our external credit card loads and it seems the issue that is causing these intermittent problems has not yet been resolved at the source.

We are communicating with the credit card processor daily for updates, but unfortunately the issue has not yet been fixed.

We do have alternative funding methods available should you wish to use them in the meantime; Wire, Check, and ACH (in the US only). As soon as we have more information your ticket will be updated.

I'm sorry I don't have better news for you at this time.

This has caused me sooooooooooo many problem you cannot imagine.

I am suppose to use Paxum to payout affiliates and I've been waiting 2 weeks. 2 WEEKS to load the account. Your support should have said something right away rather than telling me NOTHING and me telling people what I'm sure they think is bullshit. Had I know I would have simply did a wire to the account which is waht, 2-4 days. Beats the 2 weeks I've been waiting and I am NO WHERE now. I am telling 1 affiliate the same fucking thing I told them 2 weeks ago... any day now. Pfffffffffffffffff

I have to agree with Ramster. Being non-US, it costs me a fortune to cash American cheques, so I desperately need an ePassporte replacement. However I need a competent ePassporte replacement. Problems occur, no company will be 100% perfect. But when mistakes or problems occur you have to be on top of them instantly, and you have to contact your clients immediately. In that Ramster had to use this board to get attention, and even then it took RuthB a while to reply, I'm afraid I will NOT be using Paxum paying sponsors ever. I have seen several payment companies disappear, and I'm afraid I think Paxum will end up as another ePassporte type fiasco!

However I am not sure why more people don't use this method to pay affiliates: PayPal now allow you to pay affiliates via their service, even "adult" companies (they still don't allow you to sell most adult stuff via them, but they have allowed the payment of adult affiliates via their service for a few years now). Not only is it a lot easier, it is a bloody good way of getting affiliates. The processor I use pays affiliates via PayPal, and in the cases of the affiliates who have told me why they use me, over 80% signed up simply because they could get paid via PayPal.

What do you expect from a company in which the mailing address listed on the website is a UPS store...

I'm local. When Paxum first appeared on GFY hunting new customers, I inquired about where their office was located so I could go check it out. I got the run around. You have to email and/or call someone to set-up a meeting. An address was never given. I wasn't able to go to an office and schedule an appointment with a receptionist, random employee, or owner. Didn't instill a whole lot of confidence and make me want to rush out to sign up with them and trust them with my money.

What a piece of shit company. And Ruth is a useless cunt who only posts polite things on boards to the company look nice, but in reality she never gets back to you and is ZERO fucking help in resolving problems.

After 3 weeks of their support fucking with me, I still can't add my Credit Card to FUND my account, because their processor is busted or something and can't verify my Credit Card (from a well known wet European bank). Of course they blame it on me (the bank refuses the charge).

Ruth is a useless cunt

Regardless of what your experience is with Paxum, I honestly think that calling Ruth a useless cunt is uncalled for.

Because Paxum is a recently opened company, I have always kept an eye on issues related to them. And as far as I can tell, Ruth has always given her best to get things resolved as quickly as possible even if results vary for each Paxum user.

Personally, my experience has so far been an excellent experience. I have had trouble only once in the beginning when I first registered an account and getting my ID verified but she resolved my issue within a couple of days.

Ruth had always answered me in a professional manner, including on ICQ, and had always appeared to do so to me on message boards, including in this thread.

Finally, as far as I can tell, any issues left unresolved is not related to what Ruth has done or not done but is related to Paxum's administration and technical team's efforts.

That being said, I sincerely hope that Ramster's issues has been resolved since and that your issues shall be resolved as well.

When Paxum launched, Kenny B from Kenny's Pennies connected with us and enjoyed a tour of our offices etc. He posted about his experience on GFY at the time. We are not trying to hide at all, we simply don't operate a typical brick and mortar business.

Hi Ramster,

We are having some intermittent issues with the processor. I'm sorry that this hasn't yet been resolved and that you continue to experience difficulties funding your account. We are trying to ascertain the problem as quickly as possible, but we must wait to receive an update from the processor.

Please feel free to try one of our alternate funding methods to load your account in the meantime; Wire, Check, ACH/EFT (in US only).

We are working to resolve this problem quickly, but unfortunately we must wait for information from the processor, and we have no control over the amount of time that will take.

With regards to our automatic password reset, yes it can be somewhat annoying to have to do, however it ensures account security by demanding a new strong password every few months. When it comes to your money, having strong security measures in place is always a good idea. We're sorry for the inconvenience, but it is for the security of all our clients that we have such a feature in place.

Yeah, that's a tad bit harsh. Personally, I've never had any problems with Paxum or Ruth. And I have to assume her hands are tied on certain things - like it was said before, she just works there.

Thanks Greenie :) I'm always happy to assist, but we do have security rules and procedures in place for a reason. We are serious about our business, and we will not bend or break the rules for anyone, no matter what size client they may be.

We operate within the rules to ensure the security of Paxum and our thousands of account-holders. We will not bend or break the rules for any reason, period.

Our goal is to provide a legitimate, secure and easy-to-use ewallet payment service. We do that, and we will not apologize for our strict adherence to our TOS and Compliance. By being vigilant to such things, we ensure the safety of all account-holders funds.

RuthB - While I definitely do NOT agree with DarkJedi's comment, you really have dropped the ball here. Before this thread started, Paxum was a company that I intended to sign up for if any sponsor I used paid via it. The early comments made me think "look into things carefully before signing up, may be more trouble than they are worth", but did not rule you out, just made persuading me a bit harder. However your replies have been worse than useless. Look through this board: When someone calls out a company and that company's representative sees the thread, they move heaven and earth to fix the problem within a few days, and often within a few hours. This has been running for MONTHS and still the original problem has not been fixed!!!!! And none of the subsequent problems mentioned have been properly answered let alone addressed.

As I said, DarkJedi's comment was unnecessary and uncalled for, but from where I sit (and in respect of both your clients and your PR for Paxum) you are about as much use as a chocolate fireguard!

What you need to do if you don't want to see Paxum having to file for chapter 12 in the near future is:

1) Sort out the problems posted here, and post the resolutions (preferably within one banking day, but defiantly within two or three).

2) Without blaming people outside Paxum, explain why these problems occurred (by "without blaming people outside Paxum", I mean, for example, if the problem is that your bank is holding things up, then the fault is with the idiot at Paxum who chose that bank, and they need to be either fired or transfered to a job where they don't get to make any decisions).

3) Demonstrate that you have set safeguards in place to prevent this kind of thing happening again.

4) Apologise profusely WITHOUT trying to foist the blame on people/organisations outside Paxum.

5) Explain Ramster's quote "For security reasons your password expires periodically. Your new password MUST be different from previously selected passwords". This demonstrates that you treat security as a joke. If someone has to change password regularly, they will eventually end up having to write the damn thing down. Asking them to do this is as safe as suggesting they use the words "password", "god", or their own name as a password. The general advice given out is never ever EVER sign up with a financial company who expects you to change your password, because they just don't care about security.

I do not know you and I appreciate (as someone else sort of said) that fixing this may be above your pay grade. But if that is the case, then the person who could do all these things should be the person posting here, not you.

Yeah, that's a tad bit harsh. Personally, I've never had any problems with Paxum or Ruth. And I have to assume her hands are tied on certain things - like it was said before, she just works there.
You personally haven't had any problems because you most certainly haven't tried anything beyond opening a personal account. Try adding a funding option or setting up business account.

I'm sorry if you've had a negative personal experience when dealing with me. I usually try to reply to clients as fast as possible. However, even if you had a bad experience dealing with me about your account, that does not warrant calling me a cunt. That comment is 100% unprofessional.

DarkJedi, if you require any future assistance from Paxum, please submit your ticket to our support department through the Message Center. If you need any help beyond that, then please contact Chris instead of me.

Bullshit.

You promised to help me with the problem in a nice sounding board post, but then just completely ignored any further communication on the issue.

And your ticket support is just as useless. Yes I did try it, they just keep sending back canned replies "Oh it must be a problem with your bank" , "Oh sorry but we can't manually accept a credit card, our system is automated" , "Oh please try again later, bye".

And this is regarding ME sending money to YOUR fucking system. It's not like i'm asking to do me any favors.

After a few weeks I just said "fuck it".

Unprofessional is how you dick around your clients.

Hi Panky,

I'm sorry you had difficulty setting up a time to meet with us at our offices. We are always happy to entertain clients, and should you still wish to connect with us and view our location, I'd be happy to set up an appointment for you. It is always best to arrange an appointment in advance to ensure that someone will actually be at the office to show you around. Our Management team are not always on site.

When Paxum launched, Kenny B from Kenny's Pennies connected with us and enjoyed a tour of our offices etc. He posted about his experience on GFY at the time. We are not trying to hide at all, we simply don't operate a typical brick and mortar business.

Thanks :)

Where Kenny went was the penis pills head office. That's fine if Paxum is operated out of the same office, but why not just say so when I asked where the business was located since I'm local and was interested in Paxum? Kenny is a savvy businessman and he's also not the type to bullshit. I don't doubt he had a pleasant experience and felt it was okay to add Paxum to his payout options. It's just that when one gets the run around in the beginning, it doesn't leave a good impression, instill confidence, in wanting to create an account too quickly. Especially when myself and others were burned by ePass. I do appreciate the invite and if I ever do decide to become an account holder, I'll keep it in mind.

BTW... it wasn't Ruth or Chris who gave me the standard replies early on. It was one of their earlier board reps who was just following protocol.

Try adding a funding option or setting up business account...I can only comment on my personal & professional experiences with Ruth & Paxum. Like I've said, I've had no problems. I've also had many conversations with Ruth in regards Paxum in general, to this thread, my suggestions, general bullshitting, etc.

IMHO, Ruth is a Good Egg |thumb

DarkJedi - if you read my previous posts you will see that I am no fan of RuthB, but even I can see why she no longer wants to deal with you. If you think you are going to get any help from someone you called a "useless cunt", you really aren't living in the real world, are you?

I had been very courteous and polite before they blew me off (ignored).

Then I lost my patience.
