[Greenguy]

Be notified if you're visiting the website of a company that supports the dangerous Stop Online Piracy Act legislation.

When you visit a site of a known Stop Online Piracy Act supporter's domain name, you'll see a notice bar at the top of the page letting you know.

Boycott? Nasty letter time? You decide.

So are you for or against SOPA?

[Greenguy]

I read the Wiki page on SOPA (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stop_Online_Piracy_Act) yesterday & I'm 99.44% sure that I'm against it.

[Useless]

I've been reading a lot of mainstream articles and blogs lately, and it seems like the most of the Interwebs are against it.

I read the Wiki page on SOPA (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stop_Online_Piracy_Act) yesterday & I'm 99.44% sure that I'm against it.

Why?

[Greenguy]

On that Wiki page, I read "Arguments in favor" and "Arguments against" while I agree with what they're trying to do, it's one of those "slippery slopes" things & there's way too many (potential) negatives to it.

[Toby]

Yeah, lot's of potential negatives to SOPA. But... continuing to allow piracy to run rampant also has significant negatives.
