View Full Version : Questions about Dee Cash Programs

So since I haven't been in the business that long I am not as familiar with Dee Cash as many of you all are. I see so many complaints about this group and I just had a few questions regarding this company. I've searched the forums, but I never really find a good solid answer to some of what I'm wondering.
The first thing I'm curious about is why everyone has a problem with them. I notice a lot of complaints about them buying programs and letting them go to shit. Is this the main problem with them?
The other thing I'm wondering is if they are a group to avoid doing business with than I want to know what other programs they bought out so I can be wary of promoting them. I saw they own Mayors Money which I used to promote, but I wasn't happy with it so I quit pushing it.
So basically what other programs do they run?

They started a new website mediarevenue . com and most of their programs are listed as 'partners'. Why don't they just say they are responsible for those sites?
Cross-sales is one of the many reasons people don't like them that much.
When I got started, Dee was in the process of buying up a lot of programs. So many of the programs I promoted early on are now owned by Dee. Probably the best thing to do to get an idea of how the relationship between Dee and webmasters has not been positive is to do a search on this board.
Of course things change...as of right now, things could be better, but I stopped promoting them some time ago to due non-coversion and a couple of other issues.

Yeah I was on last night when a spammer was on and posted in an old ass thread and I saw some complaints about their programs so when I saw they own Mayors Money I thought I would ask what else they run.
Ill give that site a look that faxxaff mentioned so thanks for the comments guys.
My primary issue with them is that they let their sites rot. They don't add new content, at least not to the sites that used to sell well for me. Nor do they provide webmasters with new promotional content, forcing a person to resuse old old old content, or to try to sell with third party content.
However, they have also been accused of card-banging and other shady practices. Is that true? I do not know. Could be it's mot banging its all just well-concealed cross-selling.
But, logic suggests, if you are going to buy a ton of aging sites, and then not refresh the content, your business model is not based on retention.

No, not sure. But, the tours don't change, the available promo content doesn't change, on the half dozen programs I used to sell.
So, maybe they are updating inside the sites.
No, wait, there are two at east where I have ID/pass to go inside, and I have, looking fo rnew content to use for promotion. The members area was exactly the same as it was two years ago.
So at least two I KNOW have not updated inside the members area since the sale.
And I have checked the old extremepaychecks affiliate areas a number of times since the sale, and movieprofuts too as I recall, tho not as regularly, and they were dead inside the affiliate areas.
I used ot make a lot of money off extreme paychecks and decent money off movieprofits, so I wanted them to continue and grow.
On the plus side, I do still see signups from my old links that go to dee sites, and have gotten paid for those sales.

In the past, Traffic Cash Gold would add a new scene almost every day (5-6 per week). They were my best sponsor for years. Dee took over around Nov/Dec 2010. So far this year, they've only added 6 scenes for the entire network.
Check out the tour pages for Movie Profits sites like Teen DVD Club (http://teendvdclub.com/). All the dates are 2007-2009. My conversion ratio at Movie Profits plummeted last year. Why would anyone join if the site hasn't been updated in years?
On a positive note, I've never had a problem getting paid from Dee. And their affiliate reps are very nice, always answer my emails and help me with anything I need. Which is more than I can say for some other programs.

Hmm, this all seems like an easy click machine. It would be definitely better to say exactly what product I actually selling instead of pathetic marketing bullshit...
I didn't know they had that many programs:(

I'd say chances are those episodes were already in the can when they bought TCG - so they added episodes that they bought in the deal, and may not be making new.
I have no reason to think that, no evidence.
And like you say, movie profits tours are dead.
Lol, as dead as the DVD model of paysite - so we can't necessarily blame dee for that.
I think future paysites will be based on the story model - much more expensive to shoot tho.

If DEE would combine all the money we earn from ALL those affiliate sites it wouldn't be so bad - ONE cheque and you would only need a sale from each to make minimum. As it stands now most of those programs owe me money but I am struggling making the minimums this year since sales have dropped. So they have lots of my money which I will never see because I just don't actively promote most of them now.
Each program pays you separately :(

That would be nice. Despite the bad ratios, I'd probably promote their sites more frequently if they combined payments. Unfortunately they don't. And I think they've raised the minimum at every site to $200.
In the past, I would get weekly checks from Traffic Cash Gold. They'd pay out even if you had just one sale. That was nice. And it made me want to promote them even more.

Same with me. I contacted them to see if I can just get 1 check to cover all the balances from all the different programs that I push for them. (Some of which have been sitting on balances for 3 or 4 years)
When I originally contacted them, Nick said “We always pay buddy “ and " I will try to work something out for you ".
Then I got pushed to someone else, who tells me that she is looking into it. Then always promises to get back to me in 24 hours.
Of course I never hear from her, until I email again in a few weeks to see what is going on with it. It's been going on like this for 5 months now.
It’s all a crock. Just send me the money that you OWE me.
On the flip side I’ve contacted over 30 other affiliates and they were very cool about sending me my money.
Dee Cash just happens to represent 17 other accounts and about ¼ of the money still owed to me.
Hi guys and gals, I am a Rep for this company and a list of all of our programs can be found Right here! (http://www.theoriginalrudebitch.com/payouttable.html)
I have been working with these people for more than 5 years and have never known one person that sends good traffic to not be paid or anything resembling it. Fraud joins, by no means are paid for, but good joins always are.
We also just implemented weekly payouts with only a 15 day hold and will be working our way to 4 day holds and lower minimums as the next month progresses. We realized $200 minimums and 30 day holds were tough, so we are working our way towards a fix for you all on that.
Here is our calendar of events for this:
Calendar of Projected Events regarding Payouts:
June 15th , all future periods became 7 day periods ( Monday -> Sunday ) , still paid with a 30 day hold - DONE
Jun 30th , payouts dumped after that day , paid with a 15 day hold - DONE
July 15th, payouts dumped after that day , paid with a 7 day hold
July 30th , payouts dumped after that day, paid with a 4 day hold ( Monday -> Sunday , paid Thursday )
If you contact me and don't hear back within a few hours, contact me again, as something happened and I didn't get it or it went to spam or something... but contact me again!
As far as ratios go, we are all about your ratios, because obviously that helps us in the long haul as well as you. Should you have ratio issues, please contact one of us and let us help you with this, that's what we are here for. Our ratios have been doing a great deal better and are picking up more all the time. But please, communicate with us, we can't know you are having issues unless you communicate with us about what issues you are having.
We've proven time and time again that we do listen, but as with any relationship, communication is key!

Hi Tam, is there any possibility that Dee will ever combine the sites and our payments so we can manage everything from one account?
I used to promote ragecash heavily but since 2008 after sending 37060 unique's I have made a paltry $230 and my last sale was back in 09. That's a good example of why I don't promote you anywhere near as much as I used to. It would also help if you actually put content back on the ragecash site. Nothing has been available since Dee took it over.

Hey BlueBrit,
We do combine payouts, although the minimum payout still needs to be met per program.. please bare with us as this will be solved and cleaned up very soon!
Combining sites? Soon to be announced :)
Rest your mind assured that we are working hard on:
- Lowering Minimum Payouts
- Lowering holding times on payouts
The minimum payouts are a result of an intense amount of fraudulent webmasters hitting programs since late 2009 and ongoing...
Currently we still get 100-200 fraud webmasters applying to our programs..
Now, affiliate programs are still in great shape... the reason why a lot of programs went belly up is because they:
- Paid out on fraud
- Got hit by chargebacks
Imagine programX did 100 fraud joins a day for 2 weeks and paid out
100x14=1400x35$PPS = - 49,000$
Than, get hit by chargebacks (cost 40$)
100x14=1400x40 = - 56000$ making the total of - 105,000$ = out of business..
We already accomplished:
- Weekly payouts
- Moved from 30-day hold to 15-day hold
About ragecash.com
- The top converting sites from 2009 lost processing due to competition messing with the niches..
- We noticed a big market in GF sites and added them to the program which are currently converting extremely well
Please drop me an email with your username and I will dig in and come up with suggestions for you on ragecash asap
Thank you

Hey greenie,
Some sites are just not worth updating with exclusive scenes based on the amount of fresh daily joins coming in...
Yet, if a new member signs up to any site we give them access to a membersarea with 40-50+ exclusive sites
Based on your traffic/sites I will be able to recommend you either to use PPS or revshare on any of our products
At the end of the day I want affiliates to make more money this way we will be able to gain more of your business & long term relationships

Hey The Epic,
Our pleasure being here and answering questions.. just realized I should spend more time here |bananna|
As for mayorsmoney's sites.. Unfortunately Brook Skye moved on and did some hardcore scenes all around and left the business so unfortunately I dont think we'll ever be able to shoot her again... by now I would assume we could call her Brook Milf |banghead|
Kat Young we were able to shoot for the last time last year... she moved on as well.. .
Ibangpornstars.com the guy who was shooting that site messed things up business wise and moved on as well..
Thats basically it for the top converting sites there |banghead|
Very unfortunate but to be honest out of our hands...
What kind of traffic do you have? I would assume solo girls?

Hey Nick and Tam. Glad to see you guys here. As I said, the Dee reps are always nice and helpful. It's good to see sponsors that take an interest in affiliate opinions.
As others have mentioned, I'd love to see Dee combine payments. Maybe a simple backend where all the individual program stats are listed and one check is issued for the entire Dee network. Kinda like how CCBill handles things.
I have sales lingering at a couple Dee programs. Two or three, here and there. But not enough to generate a check at those sites. And that's frustrating. I would promote Dee sites more frequently, and try promoting new sites, if I knew every single sale would be combined so I could get paid.
I also think it would help if some of the tours were tweaked. I'm not talking about a total re-design. But some of the tours (like Movie Profits) have dates on them. And potential customers can see that the sites haven't been updated in a long time. Maybe you could remove the dates and move things around once or twice a month so it seems fresh.
Anyways, happy to see you here opening a dialogue with affiliates.

Hey Nick.
Let's say I have a couple sales at Traffic Cash Gold ($75), Movie Profits ($90) and TripleXCash ($60). But it's not enough at any program to make minimum. Can I combine the sales at those Dee sponsors and get a check ($225 total)?
That's what I'm talking about. If you get that set-up, I'd be very eager to promote more Dee sites.

Right now if we pay that out our NATS settings will pay you again unless manually done
Unfortunately currently we dont have the proper setup for this yet, but soon we will... Meanwhile I would love to help out and see where we can meet those minimum payouts faster

The niches I've been promoting mainly are solo girls, clothing fetishes, and nude wrestling.
I'm also going to expand into Blowjobs as well.

Well I mean honestly its great that you've been so active in this thread. I was kind of hoping that someone from Dee would come and see it so that's a good sign. I will be giving some strong consideration to promoting some of these programs. I can't push the kind of traffic that someone like Greenie could do but I am very much willing to try sending some to your programs. I will let you guys know if I have an issue.

I understand the reasons behind minimums and holds on payouts. This is a business full of fraud from both affiliates and the public at large. But, making minimum payouts indefinate is just as bad. After a period of time there's no way to claim fraud or need to worry about charge backs on a given sale and no defense for an open ended hold on the payout for that sale. When does the hold itself become fraud?
Why not introduce aging? Say after a year on hold, payouts are made reguardless of the minimums. That protects the paysite and stops screwing legitimate affiliates out of what they rightfully earned.
Sad to say but I don't think I'll ever see this in any program that uses minimums.

That was what I was basically asking when I emailed Dee Cash and many others about payments.
Some of my below minimums were sitting around for 1-5 years. It’s money I made and is owed to me.

The way adult traffic is more and more diluted, adult programs should be thinking about webmaster retention right along side member retention.
I think it would be great PR for a program. It would show they're serious about their affiliates, even the little guy who may not have the big traffic but still makes them money.

Can I go one step deeper & ask about retention? If the site isn't being updated, we may make a sale off a good tour, but then they cancel before they rebill.
Why would they care about rebills in the first place?
Didn't you notice 2 pre-checked x-sales (check signup form)?

We are working on something similar, of course all our affiliates get paid for any legit joins send...
Lets say webmasterX has:
- 120$ in elitedollars
- 80$ in triplexcash
- 15$ in Badgirlbucks and leaves the industry...
We simply pay and close the accounts...
For active webmaster that push low volume we will lower the hold soon as make sure everyone gets paid...
While working on this I have to maintain the minimum 200$ payout.. to make sure we dont pay fraud nor double pay people

We do work around the clock on webmaster retention
Its because of hard working webmasters we were able to expand at the level we do..
We take our affiliates extremely serious, we listen and act on what is needed...
In this case:
- Lower Holding times
- Weekly payouts
- Working on lowering minimum payouts..
We are now on 15-day hold in stead of 30-day hold with weekly payouts and we will be bringing that down to 7-day hold with weekly payouts...
Exciting news. I've got a ton of your programs that I have some money in. One being the gf program that I got a couple sales on the bonus days but because the bonus doesn't count towards minimum payout i've yet to get any of the money. :(
I'm very excited to see this happen. that and back when some programs were purchased a couple programs I had 50 or so dollars in didn't get transferred over. Oh well to that.
It's more the programs that dee has owned while I've made the money that is sitting there that I'd like to get out at some point. :)

Part of my point was that any minimums without some time limit in effect become meaningless (a non-payment) to an affiliate. I have a few outstanding commissions with programs that are years old. I'll never see those funds because I stopped advertising for them (didn't perform with my traffic) and will never make their minimums. All together maybe a few hundred dollars but that's just one guy. How many guys are in the same boat?
BTW, I know the thread started about Dee but my comments have been about making things better and more fair in any program.

You make me lol, out of all the points you could have tried to make an argument with, this is by far the worst.
I saw both of his threads and he did show proof in the first one. PROOF that he was getting charged for pre checked cross sales. To me, this was made very clear in the thread before it was deleted.
Then he started a second thread claiming they were banging his card. He was then told to provide proof, but stated proof was in the first thread. The proof he had in the first thread did nothing but confirm he did not uncheck the precheck cross sales. Without proof this thread was nothing but slander.
I have nothing against teencat but if they truly were banging cards he should have showed the proof.
While im not a fan of pre checked cross sales I do not consider it to be evil like everyone else does.
If you really wanted to make a point you should have at least brought up the fact about how they were not crediting for secondary billing proccessors. This was the very thing that got teencat going. However, deecash was called out on it and they made it right even though it was in their TOS that so many webmasters seem to not read.

Hells bells, I might as well chime in too....
I was an affiliate for one of the sponsors Dee bought out. I was making decent money before the buy out. Sad thing is, during the transition, a lot of the promo materials was not imported over, and no new promo was offered. It seems this is the case with a lot of the programs Dee took over.
How are we to promote the sites, when we aren't given anything to work with?

Hi Nymph ;)
Unfortunately this problem is just not related to deecash but a lot of other programs too.
Theres a lot of good programs I have been promoting for years that dont update thier promo tools and when I request member access I either get denied or dont even get an answer.
However, It would be in deescash best interest to start updating their promo tools and site IMO. Hell, I would probably start promoting them again if they did this.

Deecash ratios have to be taken with a large pint of salt. Last time I cared to check they published join page ratios - not uniques or page views. If they publish a rate of 1:400 it would be join page hits, while their unique ratio would be more like 1:2000 or worse.
A decent program has a join page ratio of 1: 20 and in bad scenarios 1:80 in my book. Anything worse that is just horrible imho.

Unauthorised charges on credit cards from MediaRevenue sites
Hi all,
For those that know us, will know that we are ones to avoid drama, and prefer to leave that to others, we just like to get our heads down, and get on building the best softcore sites we can!
However, there are some things that came to light over the last few weeks that I really feel the community need to make their own decisions on.
A quick synopsis of the events:
* We run the site www.porn-rewards.com, a loyalty site for users that join adult sites, if they join via our PR link, we give them PR points then when they have enough points they can spend the points on a free 30 day membership to a site of their choice. We do this buy purchasing a 30 day membership on their behalf with our own credit card.
When we join a site on behalf of a PR member, we always use unique, random usernames and passwords.
* On 14 March 2011 we joined the site socksorority.com (a Bad Girls Bucks site), and then cancelled within the 30 day period. We used a unique username (AsfgHYtv) and unique password.
Then on 5 May 2011 an unauthorised charge was made to our credit card for $9.95 for membership to the site xmovies.com (a Movie Profits site). An email was sent and the username / password combination was exactly the same as the original join to socksorority.com. This has been recurring for a couple of months until our accounts picked this up and started to investigate further.
* When the above unauthorised transaction was detected, further investigation found another new transaction on 16 July 2011, this time for membership to wildpass.com this one for $11.32. Again this was using the same username and password combination from the 14 March transaction.
* On 30 June 2011 there was another unauthorised transaction on our card for $39.95. Whilst we never got an email I can trace for this one so I do not know the username or what site it was for, I know it is associated with mediarevenue, as the reference on the bank is PGRECINCCOM.COM which is the same processor as used for the unauthorised xmovies.com transaction.
When I initially contacted Nick / Tam about the first transaction I was told by Tam, that all was corrected and the transaction refunded. On pushing for more of an explanation as to how it could have happened, initially I had a reply from Nick,
"We recently switched to NETCASH 3rd party billing and had to switch back, when we switch billing systems we our members a discount on their membership to make up for any possible confusion..
We would never take any money fraudulently, our support agents are available 24/7 and when people want to cancel/refund their memberships we make that happen asap."
On pushing for a better response (the one above makes no sense to me), it took some chasing, then got a longer response from Tam, the shorter version of this was,
"When you signed up, maybe you didn’t uncheck the cross sales, or we had a script error that day on the processor end? This is another piece we have to research..in any case, those xsales are indeed in house and owned by us. It is not an outside entity.
Our company is quite large. And currently you are catching is in the middle of a tremendous overall. We have 40+ programs, 40+ NATS licenses, and are merging them all into 10.
This is quite the task, and involved with it is also a new 7 day hold and payout plan, moving to a 4 day...and everything involved with this. As well as moving all the processing to within those guidelines and mergers.
The processing issue did happen, we acknowledge this, and thank you for pointing it out. Hopefully you can see it was not intentional, and you can see something like this could have happened with everything going on."
With regards unchecking cross sales, (a) we always do (b) but even if we did not in error, our membership to socksorority.com ended 14 April 2011, these unauthorised transactions started in May / June / July.
There were other transactions our accounts found from 2010 that were unauthorised in a similar style (we made a paid for join using unique user/pass then a few months later an unauthorised transaction to another site using the same username/password), but these were with the old SOBV sites, and on raising these with Media Revenue, I was told they only took ownership in Jan 2011, so this needs taking up with the past owners. I cannot dispute that and did not mention these transactions further with them.
On pushing Tam / Nick for a better explanation on the charges from their sites as I still do not feel this was a good explanation, I received an email from Tam saying "this matter is closed for us, you are now verging on harassment, and its time to move on. Any more false accusations or misinformation from you, I will have sent directly to our attorneys, XXXXXX, here in Orlando."
I am posting this to the community so as you can read all this, and make your own minds up.
This industry is suffering enough with tubes sites, torrents, forums posting full site sets, and if the customer can no longer have confidence in the billing practices of sites, what hope is there for the industry to turn the tide and start growing again with confidence.
We have removed all links to any Media Revenue site from porn-rewards.com and would not promote them, or any other site / sponsor they may join with in the future.
I am sure I will get grief for posting this, and debated whether I should, but this is something I feel very strongly about, and would like others to make their own minds up.
Regards,
Paul

To be fair, it is anecdotal evidence. It's not proof, it's not circumstantial evidence, it was, as I viewed it, a claim, similar to other claims that have been made, without anything I could judge as actual evidence.
At most one could call it an affidavit backed by reputation, but the avower is unknown to me, I have no idea wether his reputation score risk is high enough to make the claim more liklely to be true.

Paul, the OP, is one of the guys with OnlyTease (OTCash). I think their reputation is beyond reproach.
The peeps behind the scenes, those making the real money from all the shady shit, the ones that wish to remain in the shadows, have some very deep pockets and lots of influence. If that's not obvious by now then I'm wasting my time typing this post. Gambino and Gotti made chump change compared to these guys.
Well, every third party avowal of his reputation point score increases the liklihood that he would not have risked his reputation to make the claim.
However, it is still anecdotal, an affadavit.
Did you see images of the claimed charges? I didn't. That would move the quality of the evidence to a new level.
I don't need to see images, his word is enough for me. However, I have seen images from prior threads, making the same sort of allegations about sites run by the same group. But those threads are gone now too. Is the pattern getting clearer yet?
Well, no board is entirely nuetral.
But gfy has always been the favored whales against all. I expect it there. It aint a nice place.
But, it is also the sort of place this kind of challenge is posted for maximum effect, and getting taken down and banned, if the accused is favored, is just part of the process.
Dee has always had a likely trajectory - their business plan could never have been recurring, based on what we can all publicly see.

I'm just going to add this. I just got this e-mail from them.
Dear Loyal Affiliate,
This week we have stuck to what we know is*truthful*and right. We stood our ground and stuck to our word. We look legal
action in effort to put a stop to false*allegations*created by those within the industry who have hidden agendas and love
creating drama. Our action was noticed and responded to in a manor we expected. The result is our complete disassociation
from the webmaster forum "GFY". We no longer will participate in public forums in regards to any false allegations.
We are going to hold our ground and defend what we have spent countless years to build. We will be taking legal action to
those who continue to attack us in attempt to tarnish our brand. Our presence will no longer be made in public forums
supporting those out to intentionally affect us in a*negative*manor. We have a strong business and an even stronger team.
All of which is completed by our strong presence in the affiliate space by those who are loyal to our brand. We will
continue to rock the industry, make headlines and kick butt as we have for many years.*
Please stay tuned for the new developments we all have worked hard to bring you, including merged programs, 4 day holds, and
new websites and programs.
If anybody has any questions or concerns, then you can contact Nick@MediaRevenue.com or Tam@MediaRevenue.com and you will be
answered as soon as possible.
Thank you again for your continued support,
Sincerely,**
