|attention I'm pleased as punch to announce that I have added a Trusted Submitter status to the Link O'Rama.

We all know that, with Link Lists & Free Sites, one bad apple ruins the whole damn bunch. One counter loads some malware, we ban counters. One free host goes rogue & redirects some traffic, we ban all free hosts. I can go on & on.....but no more!

What Can A Trusted Submitter Do?
I have updated my rules page:

Trusted Submitters can do a number of things, like use a counter, use free or revshare hosting, have a private whois and more.

Am I A Trusted Submitter?
I hope so :) If you got a Private Message from me asking you for a password, then yes, you're officially a Trusted Submitter. Go check your PM's now (and ignore the SSSSHHHHH! comment) If not, you can request one by sending me a PM (http://www.greenguysboard.com/board/private.php?do=newpm&u=2) with 10 example free sites (based on the standard rules)

How Does A Trusted Submitter Submit?
Once you've replied to the PM from me, you can start to use the Trusted Submitter Page (http://www.link-o-rama.com/greenguy/friends/friends.html)
(your username is your board name, your password is the one you sent me)
Use this page to submit ALL your Free Sites from here on out.

Are Any Other Link Lists Accepting Sites Based On Some or All Of These Rules?
As of right now, sorta. To start, the other 4 Link Lists that I own/manage will accept sites based off of these new rules:
Porn Movie Links
Chubby Links
Older Gals Links
Sexy Toon Links
You can find links to special submit pages for each of those on the Trusted Submitter page.

I have heard from some other Link Lists that they may incorporate some of these rules, but as of this post, none have officially changed anything. I do hope that some Link Lists join me by extending some love to their submitters :)

Is There A Cost or Fee To Be A Trusted Submitter?
No. This is free & will always be free.

Will I Be Closing My Regular Submits?
No. Never. Open submits (http://www.link-o-rama.com/greenguy/email.shtml) will always be taken, as it's impossible for me to trust everyone :D

Hippy and I have built these for our linklists and networks, so I could slap a recip to you and submit it?

BTW, I have no problems accepting freesites with these new rules from LOR trusted submitters only. The handful of quality subbers I have are probably on that list so feel free to send them my way as well :D

As far as the page, the rule for "Pics/Movies Opening On HTML Pages" is "1 Ad/Page" so I think the answer to your question is YES :)

Well shit. |cry| I usually check the board all during the day to give myself a break from site building but mom wanted me to come over this morning and take down four light fixtures and install new ones. Then she needed help with her computer, then her new digital camera, then her slide show digital picture frame, etc. and I'm late getting the great news. I was concerned at first with some of the rules thinking there would be no other lists that would accept sites built within these rules but I see from the posts that there just might be a decent handfull to make a recip table out of. I see some smaller lists getting thrown in a recip table with one of the big dogs...|greenguy||yourock

I definitely like the new rules and Trusted Submitter idea. It's a great deal for those people who put a lot of work into their free sites and helps flush out the poop. I tried taking submits at a hub one time but became overwhelmed with turd submits so I just got a list of free sites from board members and sprinkled them into my lists here and there, recip free. It was easier than wading through shitty freesite submits with the same template and crappy content (you don't know how much I hate vodka-loving Russian grannies...) day after day. Frustrating.

Every few months I get the urge to make some new free sites. The new rules just might rejuvenate me.

Since MML does all my reviews, I will also be following suit for Trusted Submitters ...

But I will need a few weeks to set up a place for you submitters to submit to since I am getting married in a week then again a week after. I dont have the time right now and I havent discussed this yet with MML (But I have talked to Greenie earlier this month about this new free site format)

Emmy and I have been up to our necks with last minute arrangements for the wedding so we hadn't even had time to tell Greenie that we would be on board with this. However as Emmy has already stated for Smutgremlins and I am now stating, I will accept trusted submitters following the rules on Blue-candy and later this year I may extend that when I bring another site online... If I ever have time.

This statement confuses me, because I don't see how this effects the surfer at all.

If you use sponsor hosted galleries, can the page open in a new window?The easiest way to remember how I think this rule works is to not use any new windows or consoles on YOUR pages.

The only exception to my view on this rule would be a sponsor hosted gallery popping a console when the surfer goes from your main page to the gallery page - I doubt any sponsor is stupid enough to do this, but you never know :D

Hell - just change the things that work for you - I'm giving it a little thought before I jump in - but expect my first "new format" site to be pretty close to what I already do. Of course, there are a few items that I will use for sure.

I've got two sites accepted by LOR, and I'll be sending to most of the people in this thread. They're not so different as my old ones, they just use hosted galleries, and I added some I-frames and of course the lovely movie room flash banners. I've got a few submits to my list, too...so far so good.

When I look at the old "format" alongside the new ones, the new ones really stick out...I can't help but think surfers will be attracted to them because of the eye candy aspect.

I submitted my first new site under the LORTS banner yesterday, and have not yet had it rejected by any of the 48 lucky recipients (knocking on wood). I had some fears on this one because my title is not in English, but 99% of the site is. What I am liking is the nice balance of established LLs to newer ones. Not all of my recips go to sites in this thread, so I have not changed much at all.

The biggest change for me seems to be in the number of sites that welcome my submissions and those sweet surprizes in my PM box with invites to be a trusted submitter. Y'all don't know how long or hard I have worked to get here, and it just feels good. Thank all of you LL Owners so much for the recognition and encouragement.

As soon as I accumulate 10 free sites, I'll apply Greenie. It takes me a day or two to build a free site and for the last week I've been dicking with this newfangled unmanged server ad havent had time to build anything but a TGP gallery.
