Fetish Hits Screw Up In My Favor?

Not sure where to post this so I'll start here. I just got notified that I had a sale at Fetish Hits. I checked the referring URL to see which of my sites got the sale and it's someone elses site. I moused over every link on the site and couldn't find my ref. code anywhere. How could this happen?

Seriously, I'm used to seeing a few "no referrer" sales but never another affiliate's site in there. Tracking/cookie's etc are above my level of comprehension. I'm curious to know how that would happen.

I've had that happen a few times. Someone copying links, forgot to swap out their own affiliate code.

this happens rarely but it does happen sometimes because of the cookie with the affiliate ID in it.
