Over compressed Images

[secretagentwilly]

What is an indicator that an image is overcompressed? Can anyone show me an example of one that is perfectly compressed and one that is over compressed so I can see what I'm shooting for here.

You will be able to tell as it will just look bad.

Three more examples (Munchies is gonna kill me for this :D)

Bad: PhotoShop compressing Munchies too much (http://www.outlawfreeporn.com/fun/kiri_DSC1642(1).jpg) (1 in PhotoShop) - notice the distortion in the hair and face.

Better: PhotoShop compressing Munchies properly (http://www.outlawfreeporn.com/fun/kiri_DSC1642(2).jpg) (10 in PhotoShop) - notice the crisp clean lines.

Best: Me compressing Munchies perfectly (http://www.outlawfreeporn.com/fun/_DSC2366.jpg) (10 in my book|bananna||bananna||bananna|) Shit - her face is distorted again :D
