Very good organization. They've helped to shut down 100's if not 1000's of CP sites.

The best - and Joan over there is one of the most adult-webmaster friendly people I've ever met - even goes to bat in the news media for us when people try to lump us in with k*ddie stuff. Well worth a support check if you can afford it.

Thanks, Linkster.

An other good orgs or associations out there that isn't a tool for tight nit a bunch of guys?

WRT ASACP, can't one be just a member for free initially? I sorta poked around the site a bit but didn't get to granular in the details.

TIA

membership (http://www.asacp.org/membership_form.html)
Its a good cause and well worth not only supporting their activities, but to help them by reporting anything suspicious - it may turn out that its not - but then it may be

Theres not a free option - but that doesnt mean you cant support them and report sites :)

Yep- sounds good. :)

Any other organizations/associations to join aside from http://www.icra.org/ and maybe a few others listed on:

http://www.asacp.org/resources.html ?

Doesn't have to be along those lines...basically and organization that does good for legit adult sites and in turn makes my site seem by association a bit more proactive?

Are there any other 'good guys' in the industry?

ASACP is excellent and Joan really rocks! I learned a great deal from her at the last show in Hollywood. They do a great job catching CP and taking the sickos where they need to be :)

ASACP is awesome. I, and a lot of other people here at ARS report sites to them almost daily and they have made quite a bit of difference....I notice it every day when checking my email and not seeing the same disgusting CP I use to see on an hourly basis. They are definately a good, and very well respected company, which is why ARS is a major sponsor. |bananna|

I actually e-mailed JOAN <g> this thread and pasted the responses. She was happy to see the positive responses. :)

Joan's a horrible person, and I hope I don't ever have to sit next to her on a bus ride to a cool party in Downtown Phoenix again.

Just kidding. Joan rocks, ASACP rocks, and if anyone quotes me out of context, I'll put itchin' powder in your drawers next Internext.
