Rebecca Schaeffer

[Vink]

The thing about giving out model's info makes me think about Rebecca Schaeffer, the poor girl from "My Sister Sam." Sad story.

I remember that.

Watch for pornstars personal info to go up for auction on Ebay.

Sigh...

[Maj. Stress]

This part really stood out in that article:
"Schaeffer's murder and the Saldana case provoked Governor George Deukmejian to sign a law that prohibited the DMV from releasing addresses "

Now the Feds are telling us to do just the opposite by posting our personal information all over the web. |angry|

[Extreme John]

The feds have lost their minds thats why. So sad.

[Rocco]

I've seen the case referenced a few times on other boards. I remember it happening as well and wondered how at all it effects this case.

Seems the case would be a good agument against 2257, or parts of it.
