I wonder if we posted a question to the seller:

Now that most of your advertising contracts have been cancelled, what do you think that will do to potential income for the sites? :)

He is asking $5k "only" and has a high bidder... :)

And there are benefits like
"There are a number of ways to earn money with fusker.com:

* Advertising sales at fusker.com
* Advertising sales on the network fusker websites which must carry our ad codes
* Commercial version lease sales
* Affiliate money from new sites which decide to use the same advertising agency for their fusker or other website. This could be made into a requirement for using the fusker scripts "

:D

Good riddance. I just hope that some Russian trojan installer doesn't buy it.

I'm abusing the 'ask the seller a question' option.

I encourage you all to do so ;)

I have a feeling this auction won't be around long considering he's completely out of compliance with eBay's policy.

If it's a genuine sale, then Ebay will no doubt ignore their policy to get the commission. Don't forget that Ebay sold a girl's virginity in the UK. It's illegal for Ebay to do that, but not for the girl. :)

A vast untapped advertising potential (current website contains no pop-ups or graphical ads, and neither do our ads on the sites running our scripts).

that is comical... let's all chip in $25 to buy it, point every site using fusker scripts to paysites, and use the money to fund a real webmaster convention at Jim's place in August |thumb

Someone should inform eBay that the product he is selling is illegal so that they'll remove the listing. ... art

I'm not sure what eBay's UK policy is, but in the States they are pretty strict about being in compliance.
Btw, I love your avatar :)

Honestly with the traffic that site gets the right person could turn it into a good money maker. Figure a way to not hotlink and show the galleries in a frame (some tgps do this now like free6.com) but different than the standard tgp and it could do well.

If I had the money I'd buy it. Anyone wanna lend me the cash? :D

Wow... this is a hilarious turn of events. |waves|

I'd consider throwing in for the purchase... they do get a lot of traffic. Except part of me can't stand seeing these thieves get another dime. Do you think anyone else will try to buy it? And what's to stop them from re-launching under another name?

With the right people, I'd chip in.

I did a small test and it looks like about 60% of servers are not locked down and can be "Fuskered". We need to get the word out! ... art

Alot of places also don't have their movies protected and can be linked to directly on sites like http://www.stokehole.com/

Wow he really did lose advertising revenue didn't he? I'd like to know how this came about. I like to think it's in part because I whined but I know my voice isn't that loud. :D
