hi working on new web how many words to a title 3, 4 whats the limit? search engines wont list you if there's to many thanks

2-6 is proably a wise limit..

that combination may be a bit too sparatic. The chances of keywords returning your site in a reasonable spot are slim. You might want to play with existing keyword combos that are commonly typed in. This (http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/) might be of some help to you. Of course, try to target a keyword combo with less competition unless you are confident you can get your site linked up good enough and with proper targeting to gain first page results.

The actual tite tag on your page should be filled with keyword rich niche specific text (up to 63 characters or so):

Change the title tag on each page in some way (actual words or syntax) of the site so no two pages have the exact same name.
