It's time to toot our own horn!

XBiz Announces 2005 Award Nominees, Receives Record Submissions

LOS ANGELES – After receiving nearly double the number of company nominations than last year, adult news and information portal XBiz announced its list of nominees for the 3rd annual XBiz Awards show, scheduled to take place on Jan. 5 at the House of Blues in Las Vegas' Mandalay Resort and Casino.
From the final list of nominees for "Companies of the Year" in various business categories, a team of judges will now determine which companies take home the coveted crystal XBiz trophy at the yearly gala event.

"I, along with the XBiz team congratulate the final nominees," said Alec Helmy, publisher of XBiz. "We take great pleasure in recognizing companies that lead the way in providing higher quality products and services to the adult industry. Our judges will have a challenging time determining the winners, which is why this year’s ceremony will be the most exciting ever."

Jim & I would also like to say THANKS! to everyone on the board because, without you, it's just Jim & me talking to each other (which is sorta like the Radio Show - LOL)

PS - Thanks! to whoever nominated us, because we forgot to :D

[Chop Smith]

[kero]

Nice!

GFY is so full of trolls and surfers, how are they even nominated? And they won last year? |zzzzzzzzz They could practically just go mainstream with their board and all the pics, flames and sig whores. |pissleft|

Congrats and well deserved!

- kero

[Ramster]

IMO it's well deserved. Lots of nice people here and some good biz to be done. A couple of those boards are nice communities too but GG&Jim rock da house.

Congrats!!

The radio show rocks like...well there's no words for it. |clown|

[Greenguy]

GFY won the now defunct "Peoples Choice Award" last year, which I can completely see based on the number of people they have on the board.

But since they changed it to "Online Community" well, things are different now :D

[docholly]

just make sure you have a "timely" acceptance speech ready!!

Two minutes after they opened their nomination form ;)

Only board out there worth mentioning. Good luck to both of you |thumb

[Alphawolf]

Honestly, as tight and the industry is, can there ever be a fair unbias 'award' for anything?

That is awesome!

This is also the first time I hear of another company getting TWO nominations for the XBIZ AWARDS 2005 except for us here at Mansion Productions.

In other categories though....

We got them in Innovative Product with MAS (http://www.mansionproductions.com/mas)

and

Solutions Provider MANSION PRODUCTIONS (http://www.mansionproductions.com)

and I personally got another nomination with the other company that I am a partner in which is PLAYADRM (http://www.playadrm.com)

Best of luck and congratulations Greenguy and Jim!!!
