Well, I woke up this morning, logged onto NFL.com to get the scores for the pool & was very shocked to see that Indy came back & beat the Bucs last night! I went to sleep after I saw Harrison score his 1st TD (that was all I needed to guarentee a win in the one Fantasy Football League that I am in)

I am now kicking myself inthe ass for going to sleep! |banghead|

And you call yourself a football fan....

We was in bed watching it and was in total disbelief.

Game of the year so far.

I would not want to be in the locker room with Chucky last night

I can't believe any of you would even bother watching MNF when the Boston Red Sox were coming back from an 0 - 2 series deficit to win three in a row and send the Oakland A's packing!

Bring on those Yankees!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And no one mention Bill Buckner!!!!!!

now if the Cubs play the sox in the wold series we know one of two things

1. baseball is fixed

2. The Apocolypse arrives in the bottom of the ninth inning of the seventh and deciding game and neither team wins |jester|

Congrats to the winners!!

GG - we were in the same boat this morning. I usually don't go to bed before the game is over, BUT, with 4 mins left and leading by 21, I figured it was over. Shame on Tampa for losing that one!

Hah I did the same thing I dozed off and I saw Tampa Bay had 35 so I turned it off!!!

Also AdultLegal-Jim I agree with your number 2..... Guess that's one reason to root for the Yankees!!!

#1 is dead on, how else can Mark get the HR record with Sammy as a #2 while at home facing Sammy?

But than all sports are fixed.... Except Wrestling.....

"Can we mention Babe Ruth than?"

I don't know

Last Year they asked Pedro about the curse and he said somehting like

"dig him up and I'll drill my first pitch into his ass"

and then got hurt and went on the DL

Coincedence or curse |loony|

LOL... Forgot about that one...

I'll root for anybody but the Cubs now, I would not hear the end of it if they win it all...

I'm from Boston!!!!

I can never ever root for a team from the NYC area!!! The 2 Buffalo teams maybe more the bills than the Sabres though.

Rooting for the yankees around here is a sacrilege

Kick Ass!! Whoo Hoo!!|bananna| |bananna| |bananna|
I have to go to bed at 6PM get up at 11PM work a 14 hour day and check email more often!!!
(actually watched the last 4 minutes - and had to go to work before OT started - Hell of a come back from what I saw)

AL Jim - Too flipping tired to do anything tonight.
I'll be awake again sometime around midnight and I guess I'll be doing Midnight Madness shopping :)
Thanks Man!!

For the newbies - Jim does actually answer the phone (well, sometimes you have to wait a minute) - if you can't find anything - call him - He'll show you where it's located.
Search first of course, but I didn't see what I needed (operator error), a 10 minute phone call, and actually more than I needed was on it's way |grin|

Thanks Again!!!!!!
