MLB Playoffs Pool - Round 2, Game 1 - Winner!

[Greenguy]

Game 1 of the Astros/Cards series is in the book & while I think most people watched either the debate or the Yanks/Sox game (GO YANKEES!) this game was a "slugfest" & the Cards came out on top 10-7.

So that means we have a winner for Game 1, Round 2 of our MLB Playoffs Pool (http://www.greenguysboard.com/pools/mlb/04round2.html)

Game 1:
250 XXX Miles From Sex Money (http://www.sexmoney.com/)
AND
Increase In Partnership Payouts From 60% To 75% from Naughty Niche (http://www.naughtyniche.com/)
Score: Houston 7, St Louis 10
Total: Houston 7, St Louis 10
Winner: JohnnyRS (http://www.greenguysboard.com/board/member.php?s=&action=getinfo&userid=2763) |roses|

Good going, JohnnyRS!

Now if you or somebody else would explain how this contest works... or direct me to the thread that explains it all, I'd be having a lot more fun following the games.

My husband watches the games, but he's drawing a blank too, when I showed him the contest url with all its numbers and boxes. Won't someone give me a short and simple synopsis?

[Greenguy]

Mizz B - hopefully this will help:

The baseball & hockey pools are a bit out of the ordinary as far as these 100 square pools go, but the football & basketball ones are the norm :)

Thanks GreenGuy!

Ok, that's pretty simple, so now I know who to cheer for!
