I took the liberty to use some common questions asked and the answers in order to be beneficial to all levels of affiliate experience & knowledge. I hope that this is helpful to you.

I have years of pages/galleries/free sites still on my server not producing much - what can I do with them?

BLOGS/TGPS/MGPS/HUBS – If links to your sponsors are still valid & the galleries are compliant with recent changes in laws, then use that list to feed fresh daily content to your sites with the use of a RSS Management Script. Revive some of your 'oldies but goodies' by offering them up to a new traffic source.

If the galleries are non-compliant, the sponsor no longer exists or the links have changed and you can’t change/update the links, and then send them to a custom 404 page with a list of niches they can choose from. You can also redirect to your TGP/MGP/Blogs or a directory-type listing page with some featured results.

My conversions have dropped drastically, what's going on? How do I ‘combat’ this?

Many factors can contribute to lower conversions:

1, Increased competition in the same niche, SE keywords, free sites, gallery traffic.
2. More competition at the same places for the same site you're promoting.
3. Site owner putting his own links first, paid spots higher or ‘featured’.
4. Changing in traffic trades (depending on your traffic source)

Keep your avenues open, test other sites, however, DON'T switch out but ADD something else to promote. Continue your promotions and get an additional site to promote. Why? Traffic, bookmarkers, linking strategies all take time to build momentum. If something has worked for a reasonable amount of time, dry spells are bound to happen at some point if your traffic sources are consistent. Don’t do the same error as others do (and I’ve been guilty of the same) of dropping one site to switch to another. Dropping & switching doesn’t guarantee you will start off with the same momentum where the other left off, more often than not, it means you start from square one again. Adding to your promotions allows you to test new waters and build the momentum for your new promotions without jeopardizing what you’ve built up so far. More often than not, you will find that the dry spell is over & now your sales are growing from two places rather than one.

Promote some of our older sites - In general, affiliates/marketers tend to go for what looks shiny & new to them. There are new surfers everyday, they don't know what is old or what is new. They want to join what appeals to them.

If you're a submitter, add another submission of another site and modify your style (template/colors) - again DON'T stop promoting sites, add to your promotions. Ask for a second opinion. Don't be afraid to ask for an opinion. We are here to help you.
