Back from the Gay Phoenix Forum
By Juan Figueroa

Thursday, October 5th - I made my way to Phoenix not knowing what to expect from a unique show such as the Gay Phoenix Forum. I of course have been to several Phoenix Forums that CCBill has hosted. But having a forum for Gay Webmasters seemed to be a great way, for anyone straight or gay who do gay site promotions, to come and establish new business opportunities.

Several sponsors had cabana tents in the pool area, where one could go and kick back, take a dip in the pool, have a few drinks and talk some business. The Amsterdam Bar down the street, was host to several parties and CCBill organized to have a tent built in the hotels parking lot, which contained a couple of luncheons and a creative meet and greet area.

The meet and greet was put together very well. A drawing was set up and all one needed to do was grab a special passport, which had all the sponsors logos and visit each sponsors table. As webmasters would visit each sponsor, the sponsors would hole punch their logo on each passport of those who stopped by. When their passports were completely punched webmasters would submit their passports for a chance to win a $1000 prepaid credit card.

If you didn't attend this previous show, I have to say that you missed out on one of the best gay trade shows ever. There were 300+ attendee's so it was a small show, but the experience was so much bigger. I highly suggest that if another Gay Phoenix Forum is scheduled for next year, that you start saving up for your trip and don't miss out on the excitement that I and several others experienced.
