This mail is an attempt to convey to all of you our understanding of events
of the recent past, their implications for all of us and what we think is the
best course for us The Genbucks way forward. Genbucks right from its inception has been an affiliate driven
network. We take great pride in being known as one of the most affiliate friendly programs on the net. It’s our constant endeavour to provide the best possible support, help and advice to enhance the marketing and promotion effectiveness of our team of affiliates. We believe that our growth depends upon the well being of our affiliate program. In the recent past we have been at the receiving end of a few disturbing
occurrences that have made us, the genbucks management team, sit up and take
notice. We have been working to diagnose the root cause of our problems and of
strategies that can help us create long term value for all our affiliates and
us. We hired consultants who held a series of meetings with the Management team
and the support teams and carried out independent research of the online
business environment. They looked at opportunities for an affiliate program like
us and the possible road blocks. After two months of exhaustive study the
Genbucks management and the consultants have arrived at a conclusion that we
need to restructure and reorient ourselves to continue to be a leading affiliate
program for many more years to come. FINDINGS OF THE STUDY AND CONCLUSIONS
The first phase of the study that we mention above was dedicated to analyzing the generic medications business. At Genbucks, we have always been proactive in knowing and adhering to laws related to our area of business. We have always been very demanding off our merchants and have asked for proofs where required. There have been a few areas where the merchants have sited lack of specific legislation causing the creation of what they refer to as grey areas. The analysis carried out by our consultants with our lawyers, however,
reveals that most of our problems stem from our association with generic
medication even though they all fall in the safe category. None of the agencies
were willing to give us a proper hearing even when we have never encouraged
spamming, simply because of our being in this line of business. While some of our merchants may not agree, when we decided to find the
stance taken by regulatory agencies of the USA we came to the conclusion that
any export of generic medications from a foreign country to the US is in
violation of US rules and it is not a grey area but a black one. You must have heard stories about affiliates being scrutinized and
penalized in the US. We now believe this is purely on account of their being
involved with generic medicines. Having worked on and unearthed the facts for ourselves we believe that it’s
in our interest yours and ours, to discontinue the generic medications sales
to US customers. We have set a 30th Nov, 2005 deadline for the closure of this
business, that’s the day when we will accept the last medication orders to US
customers. We will continue to accept orders of medications to customers outside
the USA. We are providing you with a 30 day notice period because we realize
that a lot of you might be running promotions that could get stuck and cause
problems for you. We know that this might come as a shock to you but we would like to assure
you that this step is being taken in the best interests of us all. We have
identified and tied up quite a few interesting business options for you all so
that YOU and US not only do as much business as we do now but actually much more

Phase 2 of our deliberations focused entirely on developing alternate business streams and models. We will now be providing you with a huge bouquet of products to choose from, with higher commissions and better affiliate support than ever before. you the opportunity to be involved with the most exciting consumer electronics
products. We plan to launch an adult toys store in the near future. In order to give a further push to our herbal business, we are creating new
sites and concepts targeting the sexual health segment for men and women (for

redirection of US traffic on meds sites, to the pages of products of similar
functionality on the herbal sites. We plan to increase commissions for Herbals and Maxwilly to 40% !!!
