Next month all hosted galleries will be video as a lot of partners have been asking for more video galleries. Hosted video galleries tend to sell really well so this should give anyone that uses them a nice income boost on the run up to Christmas and through the holiday period.

One of our partners pointed me in the direction of a script to generate flatfiles to enable those who run TGP's an easy method to add our galleries to their sites. It has to be one of the most soul destroying tasks manually adding perm galleries to TGP sites especially as we have so many. I had initially dismissed going ahead with this as the variables required were just too many to satisfy everyone but we are actively engaged now in getting a custom built script as soon as possible. I am sure TGP owners will welcome this move.

A couple of partners have been recently asking about bigger pics to use for promotional purposes. Next week I intend to put together a small promo pic with larger images. The pics will be of ones we already have in the webmasters area but a larger size. If we find partners are having success with these then we will increase the amount. You will need to give us some feedback on this though...

Get a project running now
There is still a little time left to get a new project off the ground before Christmas and there is no doubt there are rich pickings to be had at that time of year. Our stats reflect that year after year. If you are struggling for ideas then here is an idea for you.

Build yourself a fake TGP site or even a few of them. There are two ways you can do this. You could make a page where all the links are permanent and it is never updated or add in a script that will rotate them. Spend some time on page design and if you are not so hot using text descriptions then build a thumbnail based TGP. Its a good idea to experiment between text and thumbs to find out what works best for you.You then want to add a trading script to your page/s. Trade scripts can be a bit tricky to work with and you need a good head for stats and a hefty dollop of common sense. You will need some traffic to kick start your sites to enable you to trade so you could consider buying in some traffic to do that or feed it in from anyother sites you might have. Add your trades slowly and allow them to build. The common mistake that most folk make is to add trades too quickly and then wonder after a week why they have all died. If you have a nice site design and plenty of things the surfers want to click on, your trades will start to build depending on the productivity your trades generate.

Populate your site with not just our links but other sponsors to. There is no point in having a page full of our stuff as the surfer has no reason to go any further. If your sites are all running perm links then you know any clicks could be a potential sale except those going to trades.

That is really just a brief thumbnail sketch of what you could do. Have a hunt round the web for some tutorials on those subjects if you wish to take this further. Do not get bogged down with a site that requires a lot of maintenance. The key element is to make $$$'s rather than provide free porn to the freeloaders. The quality of traffic is more important than the numbers of clicks generated. When trading with another site always ask yourself if you think surfers that like your site would also like your trade partners site.

A proper bona fide TGP is best left to the experts. Cut your teeth on a few fake TGP sites to learn the basics and how trading traffic works.

Good luck.

Hosted Gallery Url's
Here is this months selection of galleries. Remember to change "XXXXXX" with your partner code. A quick tip for you on how to do this is to open up notepad. Copy and paste the url's from this mail into it. Click on "edit" in notepad and then select "replace". Where it says "find what" type in XXXXXX and where it says "replace with" type in your own webmaster id. Then hit the replace all button and you should now have all the links with your id inserted. Of course you could go to our webmaster area and our script will do it for you... :-)
